No, Tim, no he is not. That is a nice rhetorical flourish, but it doesn't change what you just expressed. You are staring down a single man, a man potentially worth, by your own admission, trillions of dollars. And you are happy because you think he's on your side.

Elon Musk buying up Twitter is not necessarily a good thing for everyone. He could do some crazy shit like...make all his new Teslas Twitter-compatible. You can tweet from an interface in your car now! Not only does that drive up the price of his cars, but it gets more people to join Twitter, and suddenly Musk's getting crazy money on both ends from new consumers. That's what we call a "monopoly".

This is the guy who reported on Occupy Wall Street because he actually had an issue with rich elites controlling an absurd stake of the world. And now, look at him. Rich himself, arguing for gatekeeping on TikTok, and gleefully praising a trillionaire for purchasing a company that is resisting him at every turn in a hostile takeover. All the while he clings to his solitary anti-abortion argument even though he has admitted it involves killing children, and ignores that principle when it comes to other medical procedures.

I give up, Kiwis. Tim Pool is a grifter. There is not a shell of his old principle left in him.

Eh, a lot of leftist worship Musk because of the "I fucking love science" meme. They can't explain what he's done exactly but they get behind him because they see him as Tony Stark (see Tim asking Musk to build an Iron Man Suit and Musk responding something about start trek). Tim's a consumer so he'll never support shit that hurts his consumption habits like most (there's a tweet series where people told Elizabeth Warren they won't support her if she breaks up the entertainment monopolies because of star trek).

Both the right and the left have way too much hero worship. I like Musk, but mostly because nothing he does fucks with my life and I find it funny how much butt hurt he can create. He's also just someone willing to take risks and try shit, but he's also not some super genius.

Long time lurker, first time poster. We know SCNR was funded via hundreds of investors through crowdsource and raised over a million dollars in a day. Listen to how Barrett Brown lies about who funded Subverse and why Rocco & Emily took the job and what they used the funds for. Looks like Tim's lawsuit is spot on. The video below is interesting, but I timestamped it to the point of interest.
Also, see Rocco's old Linux forum posts from 2006 (a) under the name "roclok". Here is what I found.

What a half truth, Tim has spoken out over cancel culture being bullshit and that forgiveness should be extended because putting people on a blacklist forces them to side against you.
