Old listener who stopped listening a long time ago when it became nothing but solo shows of annoying funny voice skits and rewatches of YouTube “celebrity” drama you had to have participated in his Facebook group doe to understand. After hearing about the drama I decided to go back to listen to old shows I’ve had saved in backups from 2007 on.

Mike broke up with Britney Hobbs because she might have been BPD. He used to yell at her a lot. Maybe physically abusive, hard to say based on what he’s said.

Katie broke up with Mike because he was physically abusive and threw her into a dresser among other things. Fritz called h out on it on a hot mic after a show one time. This was deleted within days. Mike begged Katie to take him back and they hooked up a few times and we’re going to try back together until opening night of the club wheee mike was on the phone begging Katie to take him back and then He and Kyle lane proceeded to have a gang bang with a blackout drunk regular listener (who after that night never listened to or participated in the show again). They tried to force her to have sex with Dean Carlson but he got disgusted and left and told Katie about what was going on so she got mad at Mike and she cut him off because at this point thry were essentially back together and Mike was clearly cheating. Mike then fired Dean from the show forever because of this. Mike also forbid Dean from ever performing at his club and if he found out Katie even talked to a comedian, Mike would blacklist them too. Then Dean and Katie got married and moved to Michigan, she had a miscarriage which Mike has listeners leak personal information about so he could make fun of a private, tragic event of two people who no longer wanted anything to do with him on the show. They split up and Dean moved back to Chicago and is fairly successful. He’s friends with all the same people still. He’s s good guy. Dunno what happened to Katie Schuster.

This was all shortly after the shit with Mike Stanley. Essentially Mike David had Stanley on the show all the time and he was really gaining traction. He got money from Standup Records to produce a DVD for Stanley and took preorders. Everything was recorded but Mike instead focused his money and attention on buying a scooter and opening the club. Stanley got rightfully angry and left the show and threatened to sue for the raw footage. Remember that all this was going on while Mike said he was poor and would do stuff like hoard his brother and Katie’s gas money to put in his scooter fund and when their gas got shut off he claimed the water heater was broken and had shit like “everyone donates a dollar da to “raise money” for it. He basically made three people have to shower at the YMCA because he stole their money.

Mike quit his graphic design job to focus on the show. Nothing much special about that. Not sure if his old coworker Gene sued him for harassment or anything. Mike would frequently talk about on the show how he and his boss would essentially sexually harass and bully Gene to the point of him almost getting violent. It would have been a clear lawsuit. Mike even named the company and full names of his boss and gene and the name of the company on the show before.

I kept waiting for him to make a joke or to have a reason to be doing what he's doing but essentially all he does it call the place that a woman appeared in advertising material for as a model, act obnoxious to the receptionist manning the phones and then he tried to say that the model was a Satanist and a member of the alt-right.

Picture is from this old Redbar blogspot that someone posted in a completely unrelated thread. Seemed worth sharing here for a glimpse at old Redbar. I don't really think there was anything particularly interesting in here but I love internet time capsules. any picks of katie or britney? the way Fritz and the other comics talked about them you'd think mike was with models. Mike was basically working illegally (according to what he said during the show) so thats probably why he got away with so much. any attempt to do a lawsuit would have meant the business got fucked. As for your personal archive, could you upload your episodes or at least the ones not on his list? he wiped out a fuckload from the carlson era apparently. i don't think he can even mention kyle lane so the 2009-2011 era is basically fucked with.
