Largely out of laziness. He knows he can just play another game to pad the time, yet intentionally doesn't because that would be effort. A "q&a" is easy for him to just sit there and talk about what he wants since he can cherry pick questions to answer.Someone explain to me why Phil even bothers with Q & A segments when it's keenly aware that he despises his audience, gets asked the same 5 questions every time, and every answer he can possibly give is either "I don't care" or "no." He even refuses to elaborate on his answers and never has anything interesting to talk about when asked slightly personal stuff. We've known the last movie he saw in theaters was Homecoming (which was like 5 fuckin years ago at this point) so why do people keep asking that? It's not like he's gonna go out and watch Dr. Strange or Everyting All At Once this week during his day off, so he can't even talk about that shit.
There's also the element that he tends to do them more often when he isn't making tips on a game and can use it as a "punishment" for not giving him money the specific way he wants. Every game he's given up on recently he had ample time to just start up a game and fuck around for a bit till the end of the stream but instead decides to continue revealing how cut off from the world he is because he knows that he won't called out for it on his stream.
He gets asked the same questions because the wheelchairs know that anything else will trigger him harder than a wwe champions reference will. They don't want to be banned because they have nowhere else to go if they do.
