I'm not certain that the media is highly concerned about the fate of AF. If AF is mentioned, it's generally as a convenient way to brand a movement 'white nationalist.' But if it dies, then they can find other scapegoats. If this isn't ironic, Nick failing would hardly be a setback. In fact, it's probably a positive because Nick and his catboys were part of the great coalition of infighters that actually brought down the Alt-Right, along with Anglin, TRS, Heimbach and Richard Spencer. If people are interested in the deep lore of that, basically in 2018 Weev and Ricky Vaughn decided to convince everyone that blackshirted hillbillies guarding you from Antifa was cringe and kicked everyone who didn't wear a collared shirt out. Then Heimbach was caught banging his step mom, which "justified it". Then Anglin/Fuentes said no one who didn't support Trump were allowed to be in the movement so TRS and Spencer got kicked out. Then Spencer was found to be beating his wife and banging everyone else's girlfriends (which surprised everyone because they thought he was gay), Anglin began hating women because he couldn't get pussy, vaughn got doxxed as a Republican influencer, and everyone went their separate ways.

Nick and Daily Stormer are pretty much the only major entities left of the former Alt-Right, and were probably the worst aspects of it because both of them are plan trusters who unironically never did anything positive for White people. I think White people deserve leaders who know when to keep their dicks in their pants and know when to whip it out at appropriate times. Something that Heimbach and Spencer, and Nick and Anglin both don't know how to do.
