General GunTuber thread

It probably wouldn't be that bad actually, it would probably be really top and/or front heavy since the barrel and chamber would have to be Xbox hueg and that'll help a bit with muzzle flip, plus a short barrel means that the majority of the powder is combusting outside of it and isn't contributing as much to recoil. I would also assume that anyone building a 50bmg handgun would probably also put a fuckhuge comp on the end, like a Cutts comp on amphetamines.
I'm assuming that "handgun" here means "without a stock". So all that recoil that would ordinarily go against your shoulder would go into your hand and wrist instead. So either the thing breaks your wrist and/or fingers, or it goes flying off your hands with every shot. Either way, great TikTok content.

I'd try it.

Kind of a stupid line of logic, and also I'd be highly doubtful of the claim given all the bullshit that both sides (especially the pro UK side) has been reporting. It's war, literally anybody can die at any moment from anything, the dice are cast and sometimes you get to be the statue and other times you get to be the pigeon.

These two are great examples of meat-head vetbros. This eurasian guy was a soldier and (presumably) trained in wargames to master the functionality of his vehicle. His death to a missile, bomb, or whatever is evidence anyone in a warzone can die, no matter how well-versed they are at their job. Instead of saying that they conflate military training games with "larpers", for quick owns against the civies who don't kiss their ass 24/7.

Am I missing something? Seems that this Tim Kennedy guy is conflating a war games exercise with videogames. I don't see what his point is.
The phrasing is all messed up because he seems one of those "word salad, send tweet" type of people. Deciphering this from "goatee man with hat ranting from his truck" to English, he is saying that a lot of people get a lot of false confidence from games, and here is an example of a guy who was trained to operate with a real tank and he still got clapped because the skills from the war games don't translate to real combat.
The tank olympics are actually very similar to Karl's Kettlebell Kombat matches rather than war games. Yes, you're using the physical skills used in combat but they're abstractions.

The tank biathlon isn't an actual military training game, it's actually just a game. They race around a track and shoot the weapons, like the human biathlon. There's no concern for cover, all the targets are brightly colored, etc.

True, however he was still a soldier who had been trained on that vehicle and he still got killed (allegedly) because war is cruel like that.

The whole thing still reeks of propaganda though. "Hey guys! This guy won a lot of games with his tank and therefore he must have been a super skilled ubermensch tank ace right? Well we killed him! We are so awesome!" Yeah I agree that the tank biathlon isn't an actual military training game and that his victories in it mean the sum total of jack and shit but look at the way this is being phrased and presented and keep in mind that despite the tank biathlon not really meaning anything the guy and the crew were still trained soldiers.

I mean, shit, Michael Wittman and Paul Egger both died in their tanks and their victories were against very real opponents. War can kill anyone.

Don't read too much into it, because he sure as shit didn't put much thought into the post itself. That is just a cheap "gotcha".

Yeah that's what I kinda thought. Still, they're treating it like he was a world champ warthunder player or something, rather than a real soldier.

Given the recent amount of incest/collaborations in the Guntube community, anyone want to see the guntubers switch shows for a one-off thing where they do each other's gimmicks?

Donut does Administrative Result's gimmick, doing videos where he is fully masked/alternates masks from bavaclava to face gater mask mid-video while doing an Admin Results video going over police tactics with Brandon Hererra serving as the criminal who Donut shows off tactics on ala Admin's UK police video?

Administrative Results does an old school Garand Thumb video where he's behind a black background talking guns with his face dressed in preppy clothing while the camera is positioned so we never see anything above the neck to hide Admin's face?

Finally Garand Thumb going slovenly ex-cop redneck like Donut has and does a video blog about his life?

So who'll be the one to blow a rifle up and need an ER visit in this scenario?

That and them living in a rented "compound" for a month since most of them are in Texas now. Reality TV: Guntuber Edition.
I think if they swapped gimmicks for April 1st, everyone would have a laugh.

Mr Snow has released a video on the King Cobra 9, in which he attempts to visually show the effects of the magnets:

There is no visually detectable difference (which he admits as much in a second part of the video).

It's also been confirmed that the KC9's special feature is using the magnets to deliberately grind the bolt against the rest of the gun - effectively making the gun itself a sacrificial part.
