I think it's a representation of society at large more than just /pol/ culture.
This is one of my biggest problems with censorship and the need for better mental healthcare. If we have a place on the internet where anything goes its really easy to find the people that are unhinged and need some real help but instead they get banned. Then they go to 4chan and discord and there way too many literally crazy people that take memes seriously amd act on their delusions instead of someone actually helping.
