After Jim burnt down a lot of his old industry connections he got big bucks on patreon and then never made much of an effort to build bridges or expand his main content. I think getting as much support as he did conditioned him to just take whatever low effort ideas fall into his lap, like boglins and He-Man memes, instead of putting in effort to change things up. The fact that he's surrounded by troon journos like Laura Kate Dale probably contributed to his growing self-loathing and insecurity. Eventually he reached a point where he wasn't coming up with anything new and clearly hated his job.

Regardless of what they say, I believe whatever audience he's got left just watches him as a news roundup channel rather than for a great personality or opinions. His hot takes are just regurgitated from twitter and the only two emotions he can convey are "quirky" and "miserable". Only reason to watch him now is to get your commie troon news and correct opinions from a verified True and Honest Woman source with validation on the side.

My best guess as to why his sub count is diving is the fact that he actively makes his thumbnails look like degenerate fetish material from hell.
There are porn artist channels that upload speedpaints that have less sexually charged thumbnails than the weird BDSM shit he throws out there. I would feel genuinely uncomfortable for someone else to see them on my subscription page (although personally I unsubbed a lot earlier than the troonening, around 2018 probably) and to try and explain to them it's gaming news.

Once upon a time, Jim put out some interesting thought pieces on the industry. Some of them were flawed, but they were interesting to watch and listen to. He found some funny bad games on steam and gave reviews of them while playing them. Those could be fun.


But Jim got stale. He started sighing more. He retreaded his thoughts. He made more memes and gave less of a fuck. Something exhausted him. He cried and instead of doing something, shat his pants and did nothing. I remember him making an exhausted video about the death of steam greenlight bringing in even LESS barriers for shitty games, something he railed hard against. Something about burning yourself out on shitty games, and then steam to invite you into it's house only to ignore your particular viewpoint must do something to a man.

One of the big things I remember is that he got more snippy and contemptuous at his audience in general. Creators focusing too much on negative comments due to massive insecurity leads to nowhere but trouble for the creator: the creator ruminates, the haters dropped a comment and left.

They're less eye-catching and more cluttered. The titles of the videos aren't as catchy or short. The organization and framing isn't there. Quality control went down and Jim don't care. He had titles that had some thought with a thought piece attached to them, now he just has twitter sized statements with an elongated twitter essay to match.

Not to mention, look at how many positive, neutral, and negative highlights there are. While Jim tended to be negative, he could stop the roller coaster to do some thinking instead of mindless disgust from something that betrayed him. Now, there's not even a top 10 games he likes, or even games he likes, just what he hated the least.




His hair is limp and his posture is sad, nothing like previous Jims from the days he had more subscribers.

I went on a long tangent to emphasize it's not just one or two things, but many things. Jim has always been cringe to some level but the passion burned out (maybe around the time that youtube and steam went "lol" at him) and instead of reexamining his show and life, he got trapped into it and became a spiral of apatheticness aside from when the world demands his mild outrage.

I tried my best to watch that video, but instead of talking about actual gameplay, the sex-obsessed weirdo talked about all the degenerate sexual shit he could do in the game, and in a way where you could tell it wasn't an idonic gig or joke but in an overly eager manner, even for the type of degenerate that puts porn mods on Skyrim. This is the first time I've seen his thread since Totalbisuit's death and I'm not surprised Jim is a tranny now.

I was never subbed to him, but this guy caught my eye when I read about how he treats his audience and how he thinks his clown style is sexy. Turned a gaming channel into his own ego pampering place, and it's safe to assume he wouldn't even be talking about gaming if he were to start a channel today. Fuck, it isn't even really a problem that he is LGBT, I don't have a problem with that. Max Miller is openly gay and you can tell it from watching his content with his mannerisms and such, but he's still a charismatic host that produces good content. He was losing subs even before he trooned out. It was speculated at the time that he trooned out because he was losing subs and was being heavily criticised.
