I don't usually watch him, but does he always dress up like he's a Helluva Boss character? If he's going for steampunk, I don't know if clown makeup and canvas clothing really fits the aesthetic. Clown colors don't help either.

It also made no sense for him to attack deadly premonition 2 as “transphobic” for “dead naming” a tranny when the same thing happened in the first game. The only difference was 2 has a speech from York telling a girl from Louisiana in 2005 that you shouldn’t hate transgender people(yes this was before they patched it to remove the “dead naming”.)
Even if you didn’t play the first, there’s no way you can look at the context of fucking Louisiana in 2005 and not think that it would be accurate to the setting.

I enjoyed "Jim" for talking about the absolute state of video game development for the time. I haven't watched him since the complete transformation of the persona and that didn't initially change my viewing habits either. He was outcast for not preaching "the message" and created a good platform to call out accurate and terrible video game publisher antics. The "thank God for me" was a humorous bit early on, but when it went to his head and started shifting away from video games, I checked out. I was still subscribed to him because I forgot until I saw the happenings pin today, so thanks for that reminder to cleanup my subscription list.

Maybe I’m just being :optimistic:, but he looks almost better as a “woman” than as a “man.” Here he could pass for a fat acceptance type; arguably he looks more feminine than Virgie Tovar. Imagine being so fugly British that you look better playing r.etard dress-up than your super gentlemanly cheap steampunk garb (also r.etard dress up.) Too bad no amount of hormones can hide that awful, awful voice.

The part that kills me about this whole sub loss is how I've seen channels with millions of subs that haven't lost them, but stagnated *coughRoosterTeethcough*, and people don't or forget to unsub. In Jim's case it's the opposite, people are actively unsubscribing because they can't deal with Jim's shitty content anymore. If it's not NFTs it's microtransactions, if it's not microtransacitons it's communism, if it's not communism it's unionizing, and so on and so forth. It's a vicious cycle of bullshit that Jim refuses to change and sites criticism as transphobia. I wouldn't be shocked to know he gets assmad that No one gives a fuck that Blaire White is a dickgirl. When the dickgirl still made valid fucking points and doesn't act like a total knob, maybe take the hint, Jim.

It's amazing how much he's changed over the past decade. From proto-edge lord to frothing at the mouth SJW troon. I have a feeling LKD pushed him further and further towards trannydom and everything just followed from there.

That's basically why i unsubbed, right around the Ubisoft sex pest controversy. Every few days there was another video that didnt provide any more information than the last about a topic that i already knew all about by the time he started covering jt. Think he did like 3 a week for two weeks and then i realized "wait, i havent watcjed a new video from him in months, hes just cluttering my subfeed and blocking me from seeing what i watch" and never looked back. I just wish i had waited long enough for him to blame my unsub on transphobia

Chances are if this is the route he chose, we'd had Liquid Jim² by now. And it would be easy as hell to take clips from multiple videos to say the same thing he always does. Probably use just one word from every video and still get a Ballad out of it

Pretty much yeah I enjoy Jay exci's videos and they're either gender queer or trans or whatever. I also despised most bloodsport politics but enjoyed the bants.

I actually agree with a fair number of jims takes but he doesn't really bring anything fresh or constructive to the table so I don't care. The last time he said something which tangentially got me thinking was his elden ring difficulty video and that was just how bad his take was.

I think the last good video was probably his defence of turn based combat which was maybe 6 years ago roughly. Its certainly the last one I recall actually making me engage positively.

I mean he dresses like a tit but since when was that an issue online?
