A good comparison I find would be tv: You don't make the same show for 20+ years with the rarest of exceptions, and YouTubers have to upload far more often than networks do since everything is on-demand and attention spans online are much shorter. So it's a more saturated market with burnout far more likely to hit. In a sense, never taking off and being able to just make it a partial source of income might be the best thing that can happen to most YouTubers.

This is why the smart ones go hard with a 5 year plan to grow and save as much as possible for the future to retire early, or just do what they want without a need to continue making huge revenue long term. Ninja for as fucking insufferable as he is did this and now his stream numbers are a fraction of what they were, but in those few years he was popular he milked it for all it was worth with content, merch, cameos, etc.

A lot of these youtubers who used to be big all were making millions in their prime and should have been able to do the same, but like most people where money comes easy they think it will last forever and their lifestyle and spending habits go out of control and eventually their income drops as most can't sustain those crazy numbers long term whether it be online, entertainment, sports players... As far as I know - I can't claim to be an authority but I probably have more experience than you evil 4chan bigots - non-binary people are generally accepted to be trans' in that they do not identify with the gender they were assigned at birth (after all, "transgender" never implied you had to transition from male to female or vice-versa exclusively), so in a way, they did transition between two genders.
