So how is that the Mousey x Welshman works for the former? I know they are not formally a couple but come on, the fanbase shipping its already there even if they are still "friends", they coexist in their respective streams and both are not losing viewers or subscribers like nyanners does (if the bf its the cause).
I know this isn't the point of your post, but would you mind telling me which side is giving her flak this time? Is it the autistic anti-loli brigade or the autistic loli crusaders? Because funnily enough they both dislike her lol. I'd be shocked if it wasn't either of these groups.Forgive me as I'm not too versed in this corner of autism on the internet but apparently nyanners is catching flak again over her past.
How does that even happen? Did she like come out as being ambivalent towards lolis?I know this isn't the point of your post, but would you mind telling me which side is giving her flak this time? Guess she couldn't Boogie her way out of this one!How does that even happen? Did she like come out as being ambivalent towards lolis?
It works the same as any other set of streamers who regularly collab with each other. If they play off each other well, the viewers enjoy it. If they don't, the viewers complain and stop watching. So how is that the Mousey x Welshman works for the former? Having a relationship (platonic or otherwise) that's a visible part of your streaming might be positive, negative, or neutral for any given 'tuber, depending on how it affects their stream content and how their fanbase responds. (Also AIUI this is not a new thing for Ironmouse, so anyone who was going to be filtered by it already has been). But just announcing a relationship that doesn't (significantly) appear in your streams changes nothing except for the parasocial autists who think they actually have some kind of claim on you. Either Nyanners has that kind of fanbase, or the unsubs are more about her lack of streaming etc. and not about the boyfriend thing at all.So how is that the Mousey x Welshman works for the former? Even regular streamers are putting on a performance - a lot of them lie constantly about the most basic of things. So I've never really understood caring about what's happening in someone's personal life behind the scenes (except when it's entertaining). If they're constantly talking about their boyfriend onstream then sure, that's annoying and takes away from the experience. But if it's not happening on stream then what difference does it make? Just like I assume a lot of the entertaining anecdotes streamers have didn't actually happen, or happened to a friend or something - it's entertainment, I don't expect it to be "real" any more than a movie is real. Kayfabe is actually a really good analogy - letting them blend fiction and reality can be good entertainment, sperging out over every little thing trying to figure out if it's "worked" or not is just dull.I think it depends on the vtuber for me. If GirlDM were to announce something, I would continue supporting, unless like you said it affected her content. But for a lot of the Indie/Western/Twitch tubers the line between vtuber persona/real person has always been thin and they don't really do the whole vtuber/roommate thing.
If a corpo/YouTuber vtuber did the same thing then that would be different, they have a stronger sense of kayfabe, and I prefer when it stays in place, I'm not even a fan of the Holomoms trend, it hasn't stopped me from watching anyone, but I'm still not fond of blurring that line.
Can confirm fun is not allowed at Japanese idol concerts. Must tilt your glowstick 30 degrees to the right at 00:52 and 25 degrees to the left at 01:20. Clap for precisely 3 minutes and 40 seconds at the end, then do the "spontaneous" thing that the fanclub committee planned in their weekly meetings over the last six months. It's like a bunch of autists tried to figure out how to party by reading the instruction manual.I was going to say, "manufactured fun" seems like a very Cherman thing to do. These are a people who need to take classes on how to laugh.
Yeah, the Otagei is truly exceptional. I once knew someone who is almost like a lolcow in how obsessed he is with itHaving a relationship (platonic or otherwise) that's a visible part of your streaming might be positive, negative, or neutral for any given 'tuber, depending on how it affects their stream content and how their fanbase responds. Depends on what timeline we are talking. Before ironmouse joined vshojo, no one on the fanbase of that time would predict she will share stream almost daily with a penishaver, now more than 90% of the viewers she has comes after vshojo & after she shares stream with welshman. She definetly changed her content in the span of 2 years and this comes from someone that used to watch her when she was discovered by melody early 2020 until i dropped her twitch clique when holoEN appeared. The OG fanbase from early 2020 its almost non-existant today and it doesnt matter anymore because the new & bigger fanbase likes the new content she offers now.Having a relationship (platonic or otherwise) that's a visible part of your streaming might be positive, negative, or neutral for any given 'tuber, depending on how it affects their stream content and how their fanbase responds. Oh I have no fucking clue dude. It could have initially been neither, just some person mad she's dating now. Once the past was exhumed once again I wouldn't doubt both sides rushing in to try and take her down a peg though.I know this isn't the point of your post, but would you mind telling me which side is giving her flak this time? New patch and story quests just came out also yeah Armpit Girl Yelan tho i think reducing her to that does a pretty badass character a disserviceWhat's the deal with all the Genshin today? Sana, Lia, Nana...everyone seems to be playing the same thing.
People really love the armpit girl, huh?
