Jahi's family was an absolute nightmare. They were pieces of shit who were assholes to all the staff. They even had a 'wall of shame' where they posted pictures of staff sleeping in Jahi's room, as if they actually had stuff to keep them busy with her corpse.
Plus Mama Nails ignored her living kids to play Weekend at Bernie's with Jahi's corpse. That was always the saddest/most infuriating part to me.

Although she was a big advocate for mainstreaming him. Parents for mainstreaming are some of the most obnoxious special needs parents that exist. Usually in some amount of denial about their kid's level of functioning and can expect much more than the kid will ever be able to do. She should have used her privilege of having a good job as a prof to get him in a special school from the start. He did go to a special preschool but it sounds like she was triggered when the teacher told her some of the autistic symptoms he had.
