Shaddai Prejean, known online as Shädman or Shadman, is a controversial Swiss artist and YouTuber that is notorious online for his pornographic loli/shota artwork and webcomics that often feature underage fictional characters from pop culture. Shadman's art can best be described as a mix between "" (Internet axiom that states if something exists, there is porn of it) and edgy "shock humor" which includes gore and rape and is purposefully made to be "offensive". He mainly hosts his sexually explicit art on Shadbase, a website that he operates.

While Shadman's pedophilic pornography of underage fictional characters is bad enough as is, he is also known to draw pornography of actual minors (at the time he drew the art) including Keemstar's daughter, actress Dafne Keen, and YouTuber Sophia Totterman aka Lt. Corbis. Shadman's depravity has also led him to drawing porn of his own mother, who supposedly disowned him as a result.

Shadman is not just an edgelord parading around under the First Amendment for profit and fun. He is an actual pedophile who fawns over developing young girls and draws erotica of them to feed his pedophile fanbase. Yet for some reason, not only do people continue to excuse and defend Shadman's behavior as merely him being "edgy", but Patreon once even enabled him to rake in thousands of dollars a month producing grotesque pornography.

Shaddai Prejean was born on September 9th, 1990 in a small mountain town in Switzerland. His mother Karin is ethnically Swiss, while his father Thaddeus "Ras Cloud" is an African American reggae artist, originating from Lafayette, Louisiana. He also has at least one sibling, a brother. He presumably spent most of his childhood in Switzerland living in the canton of Aargau. Shaddai and his family also used to be super religious. Although currently an atheist, Shaddai himself used to pray to God frequently, even up to when he was a teenager. His father was incredibly strict in regards to religion as he banned many seemingly benign things in the house such as Harry Potter, The Simpsons and Pokemon, and severely reprimanded Shaddai and his brother for making a joke about God sucking while saying graces before dinner. Shaddai also once attempted to forge his father's signature for his poor grades to prevent his father from seeing that he flunked. He was brutally beaten as a result. Clearly this would give Shaddai daddy issues which would no doubt affect him later in life.

Shaddai had an interest in art and video games. He never received formal art education, but began teaching himself how to draw from an early age. He aspired for a career in game design. Shaddai would not only create a physical art portfolio, but an online website as well called Shadbase.com. Shaddai did not have the normal educational background to attend university in Switzerland, nor did do the typical entry test to gain admission. Instead, he sent in some of his amateur artwork on his Shadbase.com website and was accepted to F+F School for Art and Media Design Zurich as a special case and could start after the summer. This made Shaddai incredibly ecstatic.

During that summer, Shaddai would explore the "darkest corners" of himself and begin to make "morally questionable" artwork that he would upload to Shadbase.com alongside his regular portfolio work as an "extra category". He would begin taking game design classes at F+F School for Art and Media Design Zurich after that summer. However, one day Shaddai received an email instructing him to go to a place off campus in Zürich to meet with school faculty. Shaddai assumed that this interview was something students accepted to the school the way he was had to do. However, instead of an interview with school staff, he was met with a criminal psychologist and someone from the justice department. Shaddai was told that after the risque artwork he uploaded to his site was discovered, which were considered "highly illegal", he was no longer legally allowed on the school campus. He was deemed a "menace to society" leading him to be expelled from the school soon afterward. In addition to having to report himself in to the police and pay a fine for his artwork, Shaddai was also caught with a larger than legally allowed knife in a police search and charged for that as well.

As military service is mandatory in Switzerland, Shaddai would join the Swiss army and was given the role of an artillery tank operator. Shaddai enlisted early in order to get his mandatory service out of the way. While doing his military service, Shaddai would start a military scrapbook and continue practicing his drawing:

Eventually, after completing his mandatory military service, Shaddai try to find a new career. He would land a job a graphic design agency where he would design penguins for an app game. Shaddai found this work torturous and decided he needed to do creative work on his own. He would then dig up his old Shadbase.com and convert it into a webcomic. With Shadbase.com back online, Shaddai would quit his graphic design job, leave Switzerland and move to Canada to further pursue his new webcomic career. After living in Canada for about a year and half, Shaddai would eventually move to the United States after being convinced to by Spazkid. Through his father, Shaddai was already an American citizen.

On July 10th, 2009, Shadman would register an account on the entertainment site Newgrounds as "TheShadling", where he would begin to share his artwork. On October 15th, 2009, Shadman would launch his own website Shadbase.com. Shadman would eventually become synonymous with Newgrounds as a part of the old guard and become friends with many key Newgrounds contributors. On March 28th, 2010, Shadman would create his Shadman YouTube channel, where he would upload various art and drawing videos such as his first video "Shadman Painting Video - Busy day at the office!":

On January 29th, 2011, Shadman would launch his Shaddai Prejean/Shadman Facebook account. Shadman would launch his Twitter account on January 23rd, 2013 and a Tumblr blog on March 29th that year. Shadman's online career would more or less be uploading porn and edgy shock art. Shadman's art would often be spread on sites like rule34 and Reddit, gaining Shadman a following of degenerate coomers. Online, Shadman would portray himself as a skeleton wearing an SS uniform.

Shadman would befriend several famous Newgrounds and YouTube content creators including Zach Hadel/psyhicpebbles, Chris O'Neill/OneyNG, Cory Beck/Spazkid, and Mick Lauer/Ricepirate. Shadman would also feature alongside them as a guest on the SleepyCabin's SleepyCast podcast.

Patreon Problems
For many years, Shadman was allowed to profit off his pornography through Patreon. However, in April of 2018, following the Dafne Keen controversy, Patreon would ask Shadman to remove all content that sexualizes children from his website:

One way that Shadman attempted to bypass Patreon's request to remove all content that sexualizes children was to rename his "loli" content to "smoli" without actually removing it. Eventually, Patreon allowed Shadman to create a second Patreon account on the condition that it wasn't used to support Shadbase.com. Shadman decided to use it for his Twitch channel instead. He would delete this second Patreon sometime in 2019. This was presumably because Shadman was making more money by selling posters of his artwork and t-shirts on Shark Robot.


Heroin Shaddiction

Around October 16th, 2021, news had spread that Shadman had allegedly become addicted to heroin and opioids. These rumors were spurned on by Shadman starting to schizopost on Twitter, which was a huge departure from his previous Tweets. The speculation he was addicted to drugs was partially based on several Tweets Shadman posted with reference to heroin and images of his extremely messy room that looked like a crack den:

Another theory that was put forward as to why Shadman was schizoposting on Twitter was that he was trying to gain attention because his work had lost relevancy, his income was drying up, and he was struggling to pay rent in LA. As drugs were super common in LA, the assumption he was on pills like other creators living there was seen as highly likely. After a period of these rumors circulating, Shadman would go quiet on Twitter for a while until it was revealed on November 11th, 2021, that Shadman had been arrested.

Edd Gould &

Edd Gould was a British animator and the creator of Eddsworld, a web comic that would eventually evolve into a series of flash animations. Edd had been previously diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia, a cancer of the white blood cells. Edd would tragically pass away on March 25th, 2012 due to this cancer. While Edd's friends, colleagues, fans and family mourned his loss, Shadman had something different in mind. A day after Edd's death, Shadman drew a picture of Edd being sodomized by the grim reaper:

This was seen as incredibly distasteful by many, including one of Edd's friends Thomas Ridgewell aka Tomska, who would block Shadman in response to posting his Edd art. Five years later, Shadman and Tomska would have an argument about Tomska blocking him because of the Eddsworld incident on Twitter where Shadman defended himself by claiming that he drew a picture of Edd getting raped out of "love":

Mia Keem
On November 8, 2016, an anonymous user on Tumblr asked Shadman if he could draw a picture of Keemstar's daughter giving head to Donald Trump. Shadman shared the Tumblr post on Twitter and stated that he would agree to do so if Donald Trump could win the 2016 election. Keemstar's daughter Mia was only 7 years old at the time:

Three days later, when Donald Trump won the election, Shadman posted a picture of Keemstar and his daughter to his site:

This image was a compromise, where Shadman would post art of Keemstar's daughter, but not what was initially requested on Tumblr to avoid too much trouble. Although this image was not porn, it had overt sexual connotations and was posted on Shadman's lolicon porn website, which was an incredibly bad look. However, this gets worse...

This "compromise" image was actually just a "warning shot" directed at Keemstar. Shadman would unfortunately actually honor the Tumblr request and draw porn of Keemstar's daughter:

The conversation was seemingly quite civil, with Shadman admitting he went too far and took down the artwork. Shadman promised Colossal he would not post anymore images like this. However, Shadman would renege on both his promises. First, Shadman would not take the image down, and updated the description with the claim that he was archiving it to "prove it was not porn"

As seen earlier, Shadman's claim that he would never actually go through with making something explicit was a lie, as he did end up drawing the porn of Keemstar's daughter and Trump from the Tumblr request. This also would not be the last time that Shadman drew sexually suggestive and explicit art of children.

On November 18th, 2016, not even a month after the Mia Keem incident, Shadman broke his promise not to draw anymore loli porn and drew incredibly sexual and suggestive art of YouTuber Sophia Totterman, known online as LtCorbis. At the time, Sophia Totterman was 11 years old:

In these messages, Shadman would caption one of the photos as Dafne "being molested" and called her an "irl spic loli" after watching interviews with her:

Most states don't consider drawn pornography featuring characters that might be minors as CP. It has to be the real deal, but that depends on where Shadman lives.

His art is fucked up and when it isn't it still isn't fappable, but he's hardly a lolcow. Also I'd hardy call underaged drawings "literal child porn". It's understandable if you're against it, but I think there's a considerable distinction between an edgy drawing and you know, hurting an actual human being.

Shadman is a popular artist on the internet, known for his edgy, shocking, anti-PC artwork, and most recently known for his loli artwork of Hillary Clinton. You've probably already seen it.
