I come bringing news from Reddit.
Ashley Carnduff, a munchie known best for her overly beige aesthetic, extreme weed consumption, and lately exposing her infusion center to covid (yes she knew, she is just selfish) has been banned as a subject because moderating the discussion about her is too hard.

Her "problematic medical antics" are still ongoing. She described dehydration from a kidney infection (which TOTALLY wasn't just a UTI!!) as "soul crushing." She immediately recovered from covid enough to go on vacation to Denver and was sick immediately upon returning home. The mods just think it's too hard to mod the posts about her to stay in compliance with Reddit's strict TOS.

These are just a few of the top comments I scrolled through. There's over 700 right now, so I'm not reading them all.

At this point I wouldn't be surprised if she's outed as the next munchie IF mod. She has weird eyebrows and a tiny head, and I am allowed to say that here, and she can't intimidate anyone into not posting about her.

Holy shit, lol. Ashley is either up a mod’s ass, or one of them is starting to take the criticism against her personally. She doesn’t do anything except sit around smoking weed but she’s SO goddamn full of herself, making fun of her is incredibly gratifying. IF mods have always been weird and stupid but the way they’ve put their kid gloves on with Ash lately is particularly interesting. As well as stupid.

Does anyone remember SGB? She was an IF subject until after she went private, coined the term “accessible water” (referring to a water bottle on the table in front of her). Ash reminds me of a sadder, less charismatic SGB.

I can't wait to read the mod drama about her. She looks like her head was in a vise as an infant.

The only thing that can save IF is kicking every single mod and starting over.. oh wait.

The mods have had a few years since the munchie boot. They have talked about fixing issues and have made promises about voting in new mods..which was fishy in itself..but that's a while different story.

Bottom line..nothing has changed. They have made IF worse and will tell the members anything. The members eat it up like idiots too.

Ive never followed IF much but there was some snark being shared about the infusion center drama in a medical channel. Ashley getting infliximab infusion besides living with someone Covid positive, baffles me. Infliximab is a TNF-a inhibitor which, while its not a very bad one, is still a inmunosuppresant and TNF-a is important against viral infections.

During that whole debacle she defended her action of getting the infusion by saying her providers had told her to come in, which I find strange, because even if they isolated her and used PPE to limit exposurd for staff and other patients, the infusion could still pose a risk to her, seeing as she only tested with antigen tests early on after her mother became pos.

Someone is big mad that people are saying the mods should just get better at modding.

If you'd rather read a book with your family, then quit modding and go do that. Let people who maybe actually know what they're doing have a crack at it.

People still think it's bullshit.

Boo tomato tomato on you, illnessfakers mods. Bring new mods on board and/or learn how to use automod.

Am I the only one who misses Chronically Jaquie and all the munchies circa 2017? They were way more interesting, had much more moo juice and Reddit wasn't as bad a suck hole as it is now. On a Jaq side note, Jan her former not/bestie/sister/ and her hubby are on their grift hard. He had a legitimate Crohn's flare, lost part of his colon and is on a temporary bag and due to his hospitalization and poor health. Miraculously with an almost one year old at home and a spouse in the hospital, her illness all have seemingly disappeared as she bounces from hospital to home to baby. No narcolepsy, no POTS, no vestibular migraines, at a healthier weight. It's amazing when life forces you to stop munching. Luckily (in her mind) Paul is sooper sick and they can use him for content. At least it's not the baby.

I came here recently from IF and I am glad I did. The mods there white knight for the subjects all the time. I once got a 24 hour ban for talking shit about Ashy’s eyebrows and downvoted into oblivion for saying that she should embark on an eternal slumber (I meant like the Snow White kind not that she should die but whatever). The grass is much greener over here in the farms and the IF mods suck all the fun out of snarking. Possibly because they are munchies themselves. I don’t know any other explanation for why they are defending this stupid beige bitch with an eyebrow gap the width of the Grand Canyon. Anyway fuck those mods and their mommas too.

I'm not even joking, THAT is the reason the top mod removed her as a subject. They feel bad for people making fun of the stupid bitch's eyebrows. Before she was removed there was a post about Ashley where a few people were saying how her eyebrows look rediculous and the mods went on a rant about how mean everyone is. The whole sub is shit now. The other subjects get made fun of just as much. People are making fun of Dani on there rightn now for being too fat for her clothes. Bet she's removed next. And MBIR is a whining power tripping attention seeker themself. That sub is going to be a ghost town soon. Everyone is there for making fun of these trash humans.

Can someone post a pic of this eyebrow gap for reference plz.lol.

I'm still absolutely in awe that none of our munchies seem to be claiming long COVID.

Symptoms? Whatever you feel like. Any objective tests for it? No. It's the perfect fucking munchie condition.
You're in luck... Ashley claimed to have post-covid symptoms or rebound covid or whatever before even finishing her course of antivirals. She's been waiting for long covid, just had to catch it first.

1) ash is banned as a subject because she organizes campaigns to mass-report posts about her. That's the whole reason. she's too boring for being that much of a headache.
2) They're sanctimonious by design because of reddit's retarded TOS. Because unlike fundies or makeup artists these girls claim to be disabled. they've made themselves a protected marginalized group under reddit TOS which means anything mean directed at them is bullying a cripple and grounds for banning the sub. MBIResearch wants the sub to remain in the open where normal people can stumble on it and be educated, so she has to play by every rule and they have to white knight.

I don't like how its run either, but they don't have much of a choice. They're on the thinnest of ice with this draconian TOS and theres few other platforms to migrate to that will be high profile, palatable to a wide audience, and open to the public (so not like EGW where you needed to ask permission to join or a discord server you have to hunt down an invite code to.) It's hard for normies to stumble on this thread or to stomach it if they do given how much wrongthink and no-no words there are, not to mention other things that might be unsavory to the uninitiated like full on doxing of addresses. But they can stomach a subreddit that's pointing out in gentle, compassionate terms that these people are lying while performatively shutting down "bullies." That's exactly what happened when that sickness & Lies docu came out, people wanted to check out the evil hate sub and instead found they were making a lot of sense and doing it respectfully with no hate.

It serves its purpose. This said I don't hang around much and only occasionally bother MBIresearch to catch up.

Edit: Too early for internet. The Ash thing is speculation from personal experience. She did the same thing on IFGW, to the point where there was also discussion of banning her just because it was a nightmare. I'm talking 50+ individual reports on every single post about her every day, absolutely fucking relentless, with a dedicated mob of people posting the most ridiculous over the top shit that would then get reported. There's certain people who are just not worth the effort unless it's a place like here where their whining will go unheard. They're too vindictive with too much time on their hands and a fanbase willing to do their legwork. I highly doubt anyone on their mod team is protecting her and I don't even know who their mods are anymore. She's that much of a miserable shitstain that I can't see any conspiracy here.
