I literally wash brand new clothes because you don't know what gross fucker tried them on in the store. I can't imagine not washing second hand shit too.
Here's a question: does she have a washing machine? I understand that they're not as ubiquitous in the US as they are in many other countries, so if she doesn't have a washing machine, that'd mean she and her delightful spouse have to drag their yeast encrusted clothing and their cat urine soaked bedding to the laundromat. And you just know that they'd let it get really vile before they got their arses into gear and gathered up what needed to be washed. The laundromat owners would have to decontaminate the machines after a visit from the Campbells.

Here is your regular reminder than Pol is not disabled in any meaningful way. She has some combination of “pain”/fibro/muh mentals and could just get a job. Might be easier to support actually disabled people if we could turf some of the scroungers.

She’s also mentioned having a/c in other rooms, just “not enough.” In mid-June in her regular Facebook she mentioned a/c.

Her personal Facebook

Some family drama: her husband told his sister he didn’t want to see photos of her kids on a rude way. Josh appears to be a bit of an a asshole.

Bonus bitching about her FIL being in sufficiently helpful while he had cancer.

Okay, groomer. Except my mom isn’t a smelly cat lady.

Lmao. Man, dude really isn't doing his lineage any favors. Spittin' image of a Campbell stereotype.
Both Josh and Polissa do seem made for each other, at least. I know it's not always accurate to judge someone based on their significant others, but they both have that eternal victim mentality. I am interested to know why Josh isn't on any form of disability if he really is that sick, though. He's been out of work for a hot minute, yet no word on even applying? No grifting with a sob story about waiting and waiting on his papers being processed? Strange.
(No experience with AL disability, but I do know for sure that most SSDI/SSI will accept untreated diabetes as a valid disability. Some states will even treat it as a priority case and approve it faster than they usually would. If mans has diabetes so bad he can't feel his feet, I'm sure he'd qualify.)

And I see Polissa is yet another victim of the dreaded, incurable Dark Times™ disease. It seems to have quite the high casualty rate too, poor souls. :(

Okay so I'm rereading this part of the feud where Polissa maintains that if she got a job that she'd lose her benefits. (Image from @Hyacinth Bucket (Bouquet) )

"we lose food stamps and my Medicaid QMB program which pays for my Medicare copay deductable premiums and my gap. It's not an excuse. I'm sick."

Bull fucking shit. I admittedly know more about SSI but even with SSDI and work, you have to make a certain amount a year. I just checked and for a two person household, the combined income would need to be roughly $23,800 or below. SNAP also tends to add "deductions" that make people that make above the poverty line more eligible. I remember one automatic one being like $150 for a one person household, and it's obviously more for bigger households. Even if Polissa and Josh both worked shitty jobs at $12,000 a year they'd be fine. Even if she lost Social Security, she'd still be eligible for Medicaid for a year after the month she lost disability pay. This is a safety net so that you're not completely fucked if you end up off Social Security for a period of time. I'm glad Samantha and Dan aren't falling for her bullshit.

Bonus "uhhh:"

"Y'all haven't seen the dark spots forming on [Josh's] legs that are signs the out limbs are breaking down and at the risk of infection and amputation."

@Aunt Carol and other Kiwi Medfags, please elaborate. Because she's making it sound like Josh really really shouldn't be on the Mello Yello-Hot Pocket diet. That and he'd have a better case for SSDI than Polissa if he wasn't already photographed tilling a yard etc.

If I remember correctly, Josh was out of work for about three months when I first came across Polissa in mid May.

Neither of these people should be on the name-brand carbohydrate diet until their cats are fed, but that's from an economic standpoint.

Assuming she's not minimizing actual wounds, it sounds like she's describing diabetic dermopathy:
2673922[1].png

Diabetic dermopathy is not harmful in itself, but it's a sign that diabetes has been poorly-controlled for a long time. (ONLYuseMEBLADE has the classic presentation.) You can hit it with topical steroids, but improving glucose management is the true treatment.

Polissa is being surprisingly insightful with her folk wisdom: this is a visible sign that comes before the onset of serious diabetic complications.

SSDI isn't my area, but I know that Josh can't apply citing only diabetes. Disabilities that come from diabetes are fair game, like blindness or poor mobility, but Uncle Sam won't pay you to stay home, exercise and eat a consistent carbohydrate diet.

right well hello, I just read the main post and took a glance through the highlights at the shitshow of a person she is and got curious about her family life, apologies if someone's mentioned this already but Ill just throw what I found here

searched some names of the family, along with hers and this family tree came up that has them all, she really fucking loves oversharing.

whatever the fuck is going on with her maiden name is confusing asf, her dad's name is james daniel hobbs her mom robin juanita hobbs, she has a little brother called tyler who is like 24 and was obsessed with bleach, he's the kid in the picture in the spoiler. She went by polissa dunn, here I assume she was married before hand? I found records of her living with a richard lee dunn but her maiden born name is polissa daniel tidwell guess she's got a different dad, go figure

she went to pelham highschool if anyone wants to dig up some more

The big part of the pictures and I think what is being overlooked is when Samantha says they could have lived with Josh's grandparents but they were 'wild' and seemed to insinuate that Josh has a bit of a thieving problem. Very interesting...they do seem like the kind of people who'd nick a few things from family for some weed.

Considering that Josh has trespassed on Ms Raccoon’s property and “borrowed” stuff multiple times, this is unsurprising to me. I wonder if he has a record?

@ramUim Polissa has mentioned an “abusive” ex husband before so I think the Dunn guy was likely that guy

Hobbs is a stepfather/adoptive father? Tidwell was mom's maiden name and Polissa was given it at birth? /shrug.

🎩Polissa, that is not how you genealogy. At all. It's just messy.

I remember buying a pair of jeans from a reputable secondhand store and getting it home, and once there discovering streaks of menstrual blood in the crotch. It wasn't a lot of blood but it was noticeable once I was in good light. I suspect that the woman who'd last tried on the jeans hadn't even realised she was menstruating, let alone that she'd left marks. (Yes, I kept the jeans. The blood came out with a wash and soaker spray. I was too skint to throw away a pair of perfectly good jeans just because they had a few stains.)

There's fleas, lice, and then there are things like bacterial skin infections that can be spread via contact with contaminated cloth. You should wash all clothes you buy before you wear them, regardless of whether they're new or secondhand. You just never know who tried them on and just how manky that person was about personal hygiene. It sounds too hot where Polissa is for bedbugs, but they may be a seasonal thing in her area.

The fact that she herself has persistent skin infections but doesn't get how these things can be communicable speaks volumes about her intelligence.
Unfortunately bed bugs survive well in hot temperatures. I lived in the southwest US back in the day and bed bugs were an issue even in the triple digits. Not sure if humidity plays into that, though.

I worked with special needs kids for a bit in the public education system in the SW, there was a student in a wheelchair who would show up daily covered in bed bugs, roaches, and other bugs. The school nurse and sped aides would have to pick bugs off the kid and his wheelchair and change his clothes before taking him into the classroom every morning. The parents knew but didn’t do anything (may have been sped themselves), CPS reports were made but of course nothing came of it despite them “investigating”. That was years ago so I wouldn’t be surprised if that kid was dead due to horrendous home hygiene (lack of any).

Weird how she's allergic to everything except extremely unsanitary living conditions!

Considering there isn’t a definitive link between fiberglass exposure and COPD it’s probably their asthma/bronchitis aggravated by their disgusting living situation. She’s just glomming onto the fact theres a class action lawsuit where she may get the cost of her mattress back (~$200 IIRC).

Most of the health issues seen with fiberglass exposure are associated with occupational exposure. Obviously working with fiberglass releases tons of fibers which can end up in your lungs and cause issues. So unless this bitch tore the mattress open and/or somehow managed to move the mattress enough to cause a release of fibers (I’m trying to figure out how a stick-shaped particulate “leaks“ cause that’s defying my knowledge of the subject), Porklissa is trying to pin her shitty health on something that may pay out.

You can stroll right down to the local Walmart and get one of these for 154 dollars.

View attachment 3476754

It would keep cool at least whatever room she’s in most of the day looking at her phone to see if anyone agrees to buy her some panties.
She can even finance it for $15 a month!
(Aside: and with that 20-year yeast infection, it'd give new meaning to having a "bun in the oven, hurr durr.)
Subway: Eat Fresh.
She also spent the rest of the money I guess on weed, because she wants all the bill money again:
If she's high, she doesn't have to worry about "muh disabilities". Shame they always come back when it wears off.
Nothing but condiments and a pickle jar with one pickle in it, but no juice.

There is no system I know of that removes clients immediately upon earning any income. As much as even I want to personally hate how the poor are treated, it's just not true in Canada, the US and the UK.

Please do not be so ignorant as to believe the government has not done the basic research into social work and poverty to understand that simply getting a job does not solve the problem of homelessness, medical needs or access to food, nor does it solve it immediately.

One can argue that the basic set poverty line is too low, but regardless most (if not all) assistance programs allow you to earn within a year up to that stated poverty line before they deduct from your assistance. It would make zero sense if the government is aware that what they give is not supposed to be "enough to live on" but then you get a job for the exact same amount and still not have enough to live on. Many low income people who are working don't realize they qualify for assistance still, whether that be from the government or community resources.

In leafland: Most single households solely on assistance will earn less than 10k a year. Thats $700 or so a month. A two person household with no kids will earn less than 14k a year. That's about $1100 a month. On disability a single person will earn about $1200 a month and a two person UNMARRIED & NOT COMMON LAW household will earn about $1700 a month. Polissa clearly did not grow up poor as anyone on long term assistance knows as soon as your married or declare that your live in roommate is actually a long term partner (common law is 1 year cohabitation with a romantic partner in Canada) , your household income is one unit. So your spouse either cannot work or everything they earn will be held against the recieving client's assistance, making the spouse required to pay for the recipient, whether on disability or social assistance (welfare/dole/tugboat etc). This is something genuine clients complain about because it is stressful and has people like Polissa NEVER GETTING MARRIED so they can stabilize their single person income. Only a few seek divorce to try and buck the system.

In some situations and municipalities, they have incentives for you to work including training, education, resume writing and interview lessons, funds for new clothes or shoes for work, transportation or even gas money to be able to go to the job you've gotten. In mine however, a lot of that had been cut because fuck poor people.

And I say that with educated knowledge of my local system and I can succinctly point out the flaws in their written policies available online 24/7 to anyone in the world and I can join advocacy groups and I can put in what footwork I can and I can present well thought out petitions by these groups and actively contact my politicians while supporting grass roots initiatives like donating any extras for the month to local small pantries, participating in clothing swaps and freecycle initiatives and then, maybe, if some legitimate dire need emergency comes up maybe I'd not only receive financial help but I'd have a community to draw support from in other ways because I don't know maybe the old retired lady down the road with dead kids wants to share her dinner with me and I've cut the cost of food, transportation, hydro etc for a few days.

Polissa is the exact example right wing/conservative politicians use when they argue against providing more money or resources. She's an absolute leech with zero desire to contribute to any part of society in any way. She could volunteer to teach art to old people. Or other disabled people in a park. Hold some kind of fundraiser for her "home for wayward animals" which gives back to donations- even if it's her own shitty art.

And the "family land" thing... girl. Read your audience of twitter beggars. The most common thing I come across are homeless troons staying in shelters or escaping violence. Usually black ones too. Why would anyone help a white lady sitting on "family land" in Alabama with her husband over a homeless black disowned troon? In the world of SJW victims, she's probably a colonizer.

How is it that if I get a cat from a shelter there's a likelihood of them having caught "kennel cough" from another cat at the shelter but she's got 11 running around from various sources and no money for treatment and only one just has a UTI issue? A bare minimum checkup for these cats would be at least $100 each and there's no way she's come up with $1100 at any point for this. Does anyone know if Gomez is even neutered?

Her neighbor should call the city and report her hoard of animals. Or the landlord. Or her family. Or some angry Karen's on Twitter.

Another idea: quit spending utility money on weed

I don't think any of us really mind poor people treating themselves if they can pay for their bills (with assistance or no). Polissa absolutely abuses and squanders her assistance, however. Even liberals and moderates aren't going to be happy to see this woman reee about how she "needs" to spend $150 in taxpayer funds on Mello Yello to survive. No one except people that really fucking hate animals don't like animal neglect/death, either. Sites like Does the Dog Live exist for a reason.

Homeless/about to be homeless troons are very common on the E Beggars on Twitter thread for a reason. They're just that much of the e beggar population. It's to the point that I just expect the average e beggar to be a poor black troon. A lot of SJWs prescribe to intersectionality. A white woman in a hetero relationship with a white cishet man? A lot of them aren't going to like that. She'd be considered too privileged just for that. Add the animal abuse and "muh family land" and you're right. She may very well indeed be seen as a colonizer to them.

I will say, the animal hoarding was what made me click on her profile. What a rabbit hole we've fallen down.
