They have three mods for one subreddit of 118k members. One of those mods apparently works in the medical field and is very busy, and almost everyone hates catete for being a dramatic cunt. I don't know how automod or human mod permissions work, but in theory couldn't they add something (with automod or human mods) just to remove comments and verify reports?
ETA more about u/catetemybrains, I looked at her profile and I'm pretty sure she's a munchie.
OP made a post saying they're afraid of doctors and hospitals and avoid them when it's possible, they know they have to get a checkup though, and their mom made fun of them. Other comments said something along the lines of "wow that was rude of her" or "maybe a friend can go with you" but cat's suggestion was "get the doctors to put you under anesthesia for a blood draw and vaccines!"

Is this even a thing? I've never heard of this happening in situations where it would be beneficial, like for example a violent autistic person who tries to drop kick the nurses. Those people just get restrained. But a 19 year old girl (definitely a girl, not an adult woman) with a phobia gets benzos and anesthesia? Why can't they just have her pop a xanax before going in?
The hospital staff are wasting their time and resources on someone who should be getting therapy and maybe some prescription anxiety medication. That whole spectacle used at least two people to meet them and walk them up and wheel her to a procedure room, and apparently also an anesthesiologist. They wasted a procedure room and a recovery room. This could have all taken place at her primary care or specialist's office and lasted 20 minutes maximum.
It also seems really dangerous and kinda sus to tell someone who, in their own words, does not even have a full-fledged phobia (it's just "I really don't like it and avoid it when I can") to get drugged and knocked out for shots instead of working with a therapist. Hopefully that's obvious to anyone who isn't a total munchie.
