More flaunting of wealth, https://archive.is/fHdDy
"That is true that many people do not have expendable income.
I guess, from my point of view - I'm developing my first iPhone game and it's expensive. I think I spent $2000 last month on my art team. It's an investment I am making, but will it generate a dime? Who knows, it's a risk. Viva la capitalism.
When I look at Infinity Blade, I see an expertly produced game. Granted, they are faking most of the detail with normal maps, and the weapons look like geometric blanket deformations per character, but it's a lot of texture work. The character models were also expertly done. As far as the programing, the combat system is really well thought out, whoever made it really understands the swiping API.
Is the work that Chair did worth your $6? Hell yes. For that matter, Chair's Shadow Complex was also an excellent value. If you believe in supporting the market, and I do - this is an astonishing game worth several times the asking price.

"I also doubt their methodology, but not their outcome. Apple gear, in general, is a status symbol and that is appealing. Also, it's expensive.
I really don't think you can discount the grooming component. Jenny and X-girl can back me up here, but a guy that doesn't bother to clean up is undatable. Absolutely undatable. I think guys with enough money to buy Apple stuff are more likely to get this simple truth. So, it's not so much the Apple gear, but the attitudes around the Apple gear.

"Here's a graphical representation of my point.
This guy is a typical iPhone user. Note the Livestrong bracelet. He's totally cute! The kind of guy you'd want to take home to your parent's bedroom wall.
This is your typical non iPhone user. Not exactly dressed for success.

Yeah, the Ominous blustering just stank up the whole thread.
Also? Daria is, at its core, a show about what the high school experience is like for girls - and popularity is a central theme. If there's anything I've learned from interacting with you, it's that you are oblivious to the fact that other people have different perspectives.
