Honestly it's nice knowing those two are still getting work after all these years. Literally their the few creators who can make different animation and not just CarlArts

so what youre saying is parents and kids aka the ideal audience for animation, dont wanna watch woke garbage like owl house, and stven universe, and instead are watching shows that just wanna be shows that amuse kids like paw patrol and bluey?


As I said a few pages ago critique shows like that for what they are , but at least they know what they wanna be and not what some danger hair twitter twit wants; to use a medium as a soapbox.

Same, though I totally get why people wouldn't enjoy it. What surprises me most about that stat thing is that Owl House beat Paw Patrol of all things. That franchise is apparently huge.

These types of reports are worthless. Some of those shows aren't even on the air, but are popular amongst people who lives their lives on twitter. Licensing Bluey or Paw Patrol is extremely valuable, while ladybug and owl house have virtually no interest amongst retailers. Bob's Burgers barely has a kids audience, and the demographics don't overalp between Seasme Street and Spongebob as kids demographics are measured in only 2-4 year increments. Kids age out of stuff quick, which is why it's rare to have a Spongebob which last decades and whose interest spans generations.

I guarantee you no television executive is looking at this report, but plenty of YouTube personalities will.

I would assume it includes streaming info, though I have no idea where they'd get those numbers from. Showbuzz is the only place I know of for tracking TV ratings.

Who would have thought that years after Stephen Hillenburg’s passing that SpongeBob still reigns over all? Never count out the sponge that lived under the pineapple. Also, The Owl House should not be over Paw Patrol.

That‘s just an insult to cute dogs.

Streaming services carefully safeguard their data. They are using twitter and other web aggregators to estimate viewership, which skews tranny, groomer, and wine mom.

Owl house is probably tweeted about more than Paw Patrol, but I guarantee you Paw Patrol has been watched by at least 10x, if not 100x more individuals, with 1000x more sales of merchandise. The grocery store will sell a paw patrol balloon, cereal, and juice drink. The majority of parents know what Paw Patrol is. If i talked to a hundred parents, I'd be lucky if 5 of them have even heard of Ladybug or Owl House. It's just not within the cultural zeitgeist.

Oh I've no doubt that Paw Patrol beats most shows on a monthly basis overall, but audiences can be unpredictable. All it takes is one or two absences from regular viewing and it skews the figures like we see here.
