Okay, so, non-consensual experimentation on humans is considered unethical. Experimentation on children even more so. There are ways around this legally (see: thread) but you can't just study this in the lab. Nobody has a working model of the human body they can plug things into. There are decent models of certain parts of the body, some are just really basic physics, but there's nothing to really tell you about multiple systems in the body like we'd be looking for with hormones.
