Moments ago, Donald Trump - who is still banned by Twitter - published a statement on Truth Social in which he said that his Florida home, Mar A Lago is “currently under siege, raided, and occupied by a large group of FBI agents", an assault which according to Trump "could only take place in broken, Third-World Countries." He is probably right. He also claims the Fed's presence was unannounced and the reason was politically motivated.
His full statement posted on his Truth Social account is below:

These are dark times for our Nation, as my beautiful home, Mar-A-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida, is currently under siege, raided, and occupied by a large group of FBI agents. Nothing like this has ever happened to a President of the United States before. After working and cooperating with the relevant Government agencies, this unannounced raid on my home was not necessary or appropriate. It is prosecutorial misconduct, the weaponization of the Justice System, and an attack by Radical Left Democrats who desperately don't want me to run for President in 2024, especially based on recent polls, and who will likewise do anything to stop Republicans and Conservatives in the upcoming Midterm Elections. Such an assault could only take place in broken, Third-World Countries. Sadly, America has now become one of those Countries, corrupt at a level not seen before. They even broke into my safe! What is the difference between this and Watergate, where operatives broke into the Democrat National Committee? Here, in reverse, Democrats broke into the home of the 45th President of the United States.
The political persecution of President Donald J. Trump has been going on for years, with the now fully debunked Russia, Russia, Russia Scam, Impeachment Hoax #1, Impeachment Hoax #2, and so much more, it just never ends. It is political targeting at the highest level!
Hillary Clinton was allowed to delete and acid wash 33,000 E-mails AFTER they were subpoenaed by Congress. Absolutely nothing has happened to hold her accountable. She even took antique furniture, and other items from the White House.
I stood up to America's bureaucratic corruption, I restored power to the people, and truly delivered for our Country, like we have never seen before. The establishment hated it. Now, as they watch my endorsed candidates win big victories, and see my dominance in all polls, they are trying to stop me, and the Republican Party, once more. The lawlessness, political persecution, and Witch Hunt must be exposed and stopped.

Local reporters confirmed the raid, saying the FBI executed a search warrant at Mar-a-Lago. "They just left," although it isn't clear what the search was about.

Emails are digital data. That data is addressed to a destination - and account. Hilary had set up a separate server to get all the emails forwarded to. There is nothing criminal in the content of the emails (that have been released).

Hilary violated federal information security policy when the emails left the federal servers and when to the private server Hilary had set up for her because fuck dealing with Federal systems. At this point the activity is not necessarily criminal, but it IS in violation of information security policy - and I believe her replies didn't go into the federal system so they violated Federal Record keeping requirements. Violating Information security is grounds for an immediate suspension of your security clearance at minimum, and almost certainly having it revoked. The fact some SCI/TS emails entered onto her server is potentially criminal, but most likely they'd settle for making you an example of you being extemely fired and practically barred from government employment above the level of janitor or TSA agent.
So The emails (minus the CNN ones, lol) by themselves would be embarrassing but hardly worth a fuss - John Ashton got busted for using federal email for RNC business and got his wrist gently slapped as he should.

The criminal activity occurred - not even when Hilary had the server wiped in violation of a FBI request, we're still merely at 'very stern talking to' level - it occurred when she LIED about it in a formal FBI interview.

That is, the emails really weren't a big deal (the Server was a big deal but not to any normies) until Hilary made them a big deal by DFE, lying, and attempts to misdirect "Like with a cloth?". At any point in this process until she lied to the FBI she could have said "Yes, I had my assigned IT guy set up a server because dealing with federal systems was awful. And I'd do it again.", turned over the server so they could see how bad the compromise by the chinks & rooskis was, and it would have been quite embarrassing but something that would have been forgotten the next time Trump mispelled a word in a tweet. But Hilary's ego wouldn't let her do that, so she continued to lie.

Again, the base of this is not unique Hilary behavior. Obama refused to give up his Blackberry for how many years? Can you imagine explaining email encryption to Mitch McConnel? But from what I'm gathering, it seems like the best you can hope to do is "not shit up the local community". More than not being a benefit to it, you aren't even in the space to do so, and you'll be relying on those who can to perform the upkeep of said society to continue doing so for your sake. You're at the mercy of the natives, and you also have no recourse if said natives collectively mismanage their country like Americans have mismanaged their own country.

You don't need me to affirm you, surely, but I don't find your decision to leave the States something I should begrudge, especially if you're saying that you do your best to fit in. However, I don't anticipate that a mass exodus of any kind of people who technically still have a place to go back to is going to yield that same kind of person-- as the expat's personality can range from something like "obtrusive" to "conforming", I expect that many will tend towards the former, and will import their "rot" to wherever they emigrate.

If one's country is in increasingly bad shape, then-- like a home in need of cleaning-- I only find it sensible that one work towards the bettering of said country and home, in part because you have the means as part of the "in-group" to do so, and also in part because it's the fault of the American people that America is in its current position, in the first place. Even if you can say that you're deprived of power by whatever degree, you still occupy a workable position that you'll never have when you live as an expat in another country.

Well, I might be being unfair-- many immigrants come to the States without being forced out of their home country by circumstance, instead of doing what they can to ameliorate their own country and home. Some of them mostly or fully become American at heart after they're naturalized, and others still do not. My viewpoint is just that there's only so many places you can run to, and all of those places can decay as your home country does-- in which case, why not just do your best to keep your home country from ruin?

Almost certainly this will not work, there is a process involved in this kind of stuff. Trump would almost certainly need to be first informed by the National Archives in writing that he is in violation and needs to return the material or face prosecution. We just have to wait and see if this process was followed. https://www.realclearpolitics.com/articles/2018/06/10/crisis_at_the_national_archives_137241.html talks about how Obama's admin was missing well over 10k items and how Hillary Clinton was in direct violation of the law during the handoff. Far as we can determine from early statements is that the FBI came and took away maybe a dozen documents in total.
