Keffals is under the impression that the United States government will allow prosecution or extradition of American citizens for violating Canadian hate speech laws. While I could see the current administration being in favor of that on a philosophical level, there’s no way they’d want to establish that precedent and have some of them be extradited for real crimes ie arms dealing, human trafficking, or money laundering in Eastern Europe.

US law actually explicitly prohibits such an extradition. The US Supreme Court has been clear that "Hate Speech" has no legal weight in US law. Actually the opposite, it's outright said the 1st amendment exists explicitly to protect minority speech, like Hate Speech. Since the US cannot extradite for a crime that does not exist in US Law, Keffals can't get an extradition under Canadas speech codes.

They may make it impossible to be platformed, subject to lawfare, social censure, and so on-but to get European or Canadian hate speech laws you need to change the first amendment, and there is no political super majority that can do that, as much as leftists may want too.
