Your first mistake was to believe that a tech corpo, especially from a company like cloudflare with a very questionable finger in everything, has any moral compass whatsoever. Have you looked at the internet lately? In your place, I would not wait for a change of mind, if possible. There's a reason companies like cloudflare get into unique positions and so powerful to begin with, and that reason isn't that they're all about fairness and doing the right thing. The whole thing is rotten from the top, and I think there's little that will truly change that. Power corrupts. Like in so many other things we'd need strong governments to step in and protect their citizens from the whims of corporations and the agendas of the billionaires controlling them, but - fat chance.
The thing is, by removing or even trying to remove the information about groomers and pedophiles like keffals and gang, they're genuinely endangering more lives than this website ever could, because contrary to the nature of this website, these people are truly malignant psychopaths. I have hope that truth will come to light eventually, but I fear many lives will be affected negatively in the process, thanks to actions from people like Matthew Prince who keep enabling them.
I have to honestly admit that I have the strong feeling that this place won't be able to weather the storm indefinitely either, but then I already said that years ago and was always proven wrong, every single time. So keep proving me wrong.
I don't think the trannies are the biggest issue even, really. They're more of just another symptom of a whole disease running through the west. More and more people become aware of this and the pushback is certainly there and I've seen proof of this pushback in real life, actions of people in the right positions making sure people like keffals can't get into position to hurt others, no matter what rules and laws might say about it. I'm staying intentionally vague on purpose, but I could imagine others have similar stories. This kind of resistance is much more powerful than to yell at people on twitter. Deny them entry where you can. Vote appropriately. Show them that they're not welcome amongst pleasant society.
