The problem is, they're not proficient enough to put out enough tech stuff to keep up their daily video schedule. They talk about a lot of things, especially when doing videos about their storage arrays and shit; they shill the fuck out of hardware no one is gonna be able to afford, but they don't have anything like an in-depth several hour long "Here's how to use/configure X." And I bring this up because while I don't watch his every video, the now ex-editor Taran has some crazy fucking "Here's how I edit" videos that are hours long and goes to great depths about things. If Linus and his team wanted to flex some of their "tech guru" muscle, they'd do something like that; and then they'd rate something like that, but they don't. Linus is like a more successful DSP; he thinks "I'm a successful businessman with my own business," and has to buy the most expensive top of the line, because he has a business, even if he's rarely gonna have a use for it.

This is probably true but there is a very good chance Dell would have to pre-approve titles for videos like this (if its a sponsored video, i dont know if it is as i havent looked so correct me if im wrong here) like they usually would also have to approve the contents of the video or the actual video itself, meaning if this is why it was changed after the fact it means LTT didnt send anything off to them beforehand
True, though before I request a move I'd like to improve on the OP a bit more before it gets moved to IF and I lose the ability to edit it without moderator's approval. At the same time I suck at gathering and consolidating info like this so I'd like to ask for help in improving the OP by adding more info that was discussed in the thread. That is actually the most normal opinion to have about Arc, the issue is that Intel is a massive fucking corporation and it has more than enough money to fix the driver issue, but instead Linus acts like Intel Arc is some garage project that needs early funding by shilling Arc and telling his viewers to buy it anyways, plus he once again shows he will never make a negative review about a product from a brand he gets free shit from.
Like how he used to shit on AMD FSR as being more a gimmick and that AMD was using it to make better results in the presentation benchmarks while Nvidia did the same and he was simping it
Yeah, tapes look fine when they haven't been replayed very much, and are using good quality players with good connections. Lots of HDTVs have terrible analog-to-digital converters that make things look a lot worse than they should.
