Cancer surgeons are usually trying to save as much healthy tissue as possible so a reconstructive surgeon can come in later to fix the aesthetics.
Top surgery is more aligned with plastic surgery than a cancer surgery; despite both being a type of bilateral mastectomy.
Plus all the Top surgeons seem to be the most unethical, lazy, greedy and incompetent surgeons that exist.
They remind me of that joke.

A lot of women who have surgery due to cancer get lumpectomies. Those can sometimes remove a lot of tissue and be noticeable disfiguring, however it is far less disfiguring than a radical mastectomy. Those can look fairly nasty even with a great surgeon, as after a point the idea is to just scoop out as much potential troublemaker tissue and hidden cancer bits as possible. But the overall 20 year survival rates are pretty close between breast conserving surgeries and mastectomy so the goal is usually to leave as much as is medically responsible and practical.
Some good stats here, in the interest of protecting as many boobs as possible. RIP to the boobs slaughtered in this thread.

TiFs tend to have bigger scars because they are immature and careless. Going against the surgeons orders and moving your arms too much will stretch the scars and open wounds.
The woman who get breast cancer are usually mature, middle age, responsible mothers; the kind of people who will listen and follow through with instructions.

This has been discussed before in the thread. Honestly I suspect the surgeons just don't bother to sew them up very well. Gender surgeons don't give a shit about quality in any other aspect of their work, so why bother to close up incisions appropriately and carefully when you can just pop in some Frankenstein stitches and move on to the next profitable autistic teenager?
