Idk, I can't help but increasingly get the sense like this dude is messing with everyone and this is some kind of performance art. I've seen the waifuism thread, and this man is suspiciously willing to enter public/dress himself/exert himself towards real goals for a waifuist. Maybe it's like a 50/50 genuine intent vs. performance thing.

I really hope not though, I'm going to be crushed if it turns out he has a real girlfriend and it's her taking the pictures for him or something horrifying like that.
Even if your waifu's heart happens to be made of paper that doesn't mean it's ok to play with it like this...

I've seen some stuff on his Twitter that shows he's got some girl friends and the like, hinting that he's fine around women. Nothing excessive, just took a peek into his posts with a disposable account. He seems to be genuinely fascinated with printing colossal cutouts and into anime and vtubers, which is frankly normal. I think he really does like this stuff but isn't a fucking lunatic, just eccentric!

Either way, this guy is loaded, young, and reasonably fit, fine in looks too. Confidence is clearly no issue as pretty much everyone else would be mortified to do half the shit he does in public, so all he needs to do is either find a woman who likes this stuff or is simply a geek like him, or tone it down, maybe work out a little and get out there to meet women. He's still barely out of his teens so it's not unreasonable that he might grow tired of this stuff, too!

Fuck, there's a chance he does really have a girlfriend behind the scenes. Powerleveling a bit, I met a guy at work who was really into stuff like that. He even did anime dances and the like, really eccentric and you either liked him or you hated him, but he was a cool guy. I didn't believe that he had a girlfriend until she showed up with him at bar for our happy hour one time lol!

I actually like this guy. In his own exceptional way, he's a fucking Chad. "You think think you're an obsessive weirdo because you have 5000 pictures on Deviant Art dedicated to 2D from Gorillaz? Come back when you've filled some of this endless gap, you peasant!"

In all seriousness, I get the feeling if you spend any time in those wallpapered rooms you'll get a splitting headache.

I'm prettty sure those are completely new rooms. Is this one of the houses we previously discovered or is this completely new?
I wouldn't be surprised if Tobyn is rich to a point where he can just buy a house to cover entirely with sayaka pics.

It looks like he's got a passion for papercrafts, and is both loaded and dedicated enough to promote himself while doing them. I kinda like the guy, he's a harmless eccentric and will probably age out of it. I was a fucking retard (compared to now) when I was his age, most of us were lol!

In fact, I was thinking about this thread while doing some shopping earlier today. Maizono's game came out around 2010 (Japan) and 2012 (U.S.), meaning there's a good chance Tobyn got the game at age 11 considering he's 19. If he played it at launch in 2010 (might have enough fluency in japanese by then, considering his mother) or even at 2012, he was just around the age where boys start showing interest in girls, with dumb crushes and the discovery of passion. I still remember my years back then, and I get a feeling of fondness for those years, if only for my cute innocence as a young boy. Boys and girls having crushes on fictional characters isn't weird or unusual, she might be one of the first girls that captivated his feelings and thus he carries it on to this day in his eccentricity!

This man makes me smile. It's tinged with sadness sometimes, but this motherfucker has passion and that's beautiful. I hope to see his art goals in 2023 fulfilled.


I hope he's selling some of these sculptures, there are always people willing to take care of things like this.

Tobyn posted a video explaining why he does it. Honestly at first I thought he just had some kind of giantess fetish, but now I think there’s more to it and I’m legitimately interested in seeing what he does next.
