Trashfire YE24 Megathread - Kanye West (Ye) has announced his bid for the 2024 presidential election. In his infinite wisdom he has tapped Milo as his campaign manager. Nick has tagged along in order to desperately attempt to cling to relevance .

Absolutely fucking insane year. At this pace Biden is going to refer to Nick as "that little MAGA midget boy" or something by Christmas.
Just think. The year started with Ethan Ralph getting beaten up in Portugal. TWICE. Nothing could top that we said! It was peak drama!

Oh god how wrong we were in underestimating clown world.

You've been living in the /pol/ echo chamber too long. Most people, including Tim Pool, don't want to be racial. They want to be colorblind and they want to treat everyone as individuals. You really don't get it. EVEN IF THE JQ IS REAL (OR BLACKS COMMIT MORE CRIME), NORMIES WON'T ACCEPT IT BECAUSE OVERCOMING HATE AND LIVING EACH OTHER IS A HOPEFUL FUTURE AND THE CONSEQUENCES OF GETTING RID OF COLORBLINDNESS IS A RACE WAR. You need a damn good message if you want to change people's core values and simply telling the truth isn't enough.

The ratings show that 68% (which is +/- 1 standard deviation) like the video. Not surprising. Your viewpoint is no the majority.

Most people are smart enough to not say any of this shit in print or at their jobs. Among friends and family, facts like 'the Jews control Hollywood/media/banks' and that black areas are crime-ridden shitholes are accepted on a basic level by huge swathes of the population. Rich white people might not say it out loud, but they know it and act on it - 'let's make sure we move to a neighborhood with good schools' or 'you can't say that, your father works for Mr. Goldstein'. Blacks will never admit the latter, but they know it's true, and will be surprisingly frank about the former if they feel they have little to lose by doing so. Somewhat surprisingly, the most honest people about both in my experience are FOB East Asians.

Ironically, I think that the view which you expressed - that normies honestly believe in the colorblind stuff in overwhelming numbers and are all hopelessly naïve - is the one which is born of being terminally online or posting on /pol/. People in real life talk about this shit when they feel comfortable with you - they won't use dumb meme words and aren't Hitler fans, but they recognize basic patterns when doing so is required to safely navigate reality. It's only in the online panopticon of social media that everyone toes the party line to avoid being unpersoned. I don't see how anyone could have any number of friends or trustworthy acquaintances who deal with real world shit and come away thinking that 'the Jews control Hollywood' is something that only poltards believe. Why else did this Norm MacDonald joke get so many laughs?

I just went back and watched from the beginning until Kanye left and my biggest question is why does Tim feel a clear disproportionate need to come to the defense of these people? He was put in his place twice before Kanye walked but couldn't get the message.
Kanye didn't get his message out. Because he decided to go on a tirade about the JEWZ

Unless he is campaigning on a final solution to the Jewish Question
>Kanye didn't get his message out because his message triggered my [lalalalalalalala not listening to youuuu] programming
>Remember the Hohoholocaust

Kanye brought the Jews up bro

Kanye could have talked about any other political issue he had. That was what Tim was trying to do.

Kanye just needed to talk about the Jews

This is very much how I feel. I don't have a lot of love for figures like Ralph, Nick, Baked Alaska, or Milo. I'm ambivalent on Ye. But I 100% sympathize with his trying to deal with Tim's line of argument and just deciding it isn't worth it. His questions were the exact opposite of polite or unchallenging.

He does this thing that all libertarians/'individualists'/classical liberals do under certain circumstances. They all have these little shibboleths that they have to bow down to, in order to prove that they're still 'good boys' and not outside the realm of polite political society. If you challenge any of these, they will then pretend that emergent phenomenon don't exist and will never allow the conversation to move an inch forward.

The only thing that you can do is point out how disingenuous, cowardly, and mind-shatteringly stupid what they're doing is, and then walk away, because at that stage they can't be convinced. They aren't reasoning out a position, they're refusing to be budged because they know that there will be social consequences if they put a toe over that line. Even if you impeccably argue your way around this, they will just keep repeating the same point like a broken record, because you can't reason someone out of a position that they didn't reason themselves into.

Kanye had already gone through this cycle once with Pool. He then delivered the necessary killshot to his flimsy argument: if individual actions cannot combine to create larger emergent, observable, and comprehensible phenomena, then why did Pool himself start out by saying that Kanye would be 'good for the black vote'? If we can dispense with talking only about individual black people and instead talk about the black vote as a larger, comprehensible thing brought about by the collective actions and interactions of myriad individual black people, why is it absolutely forbidden to perform the same process of abstraction when discussing Jewish power?

It was clear that, had the interview continues, every time that Kanye tried to talk about the elephant in the room and make his case, Pool would have talk over him and insist that they only ever talk about individual Jewish people like a bunch of autists. Imagine trying to talk to someone about the political history of black Americans in the 20th century, only for them to interrupt you anytime you tried to introduce a level of abstraction one step above the individual level. You simply wouldn't be able to communicate anything about the subject matter. Any reasonable people watching that interview will come away with the view that Pool was being a deliberately obtuse slimeball
Leftists are comfortable discussing collective groups-and conservatives are as well, different groups mind you-but bring up Jews and suddenly ethnic and racial identity don't exist. Someone on Telegram put it this way-its like saying the Mafia was an an emergent phenomenon of autonomous individuals-no bonds of loyalty, no shared heritage, no traceable culture back to the old world. Really all arguments against anti semitism boil down to this-"Jews don't network or recognize common kinship and act on said kinship where they are"-its nonsensical on its face.

You can absolutely discuss individuals, after all MLK and Malcolm X are important individual blacks-but no one, argues the civil rights movement was composed of autonomous individuals who happened to be black.

As for Pool-he knows where his bread his buttered, conservative "influencers" very much know what they dare not talk about. That includes Matt Walsh, among others. Agree with West-lose his YT channel.

First time I've ever seen Kimmel catch himself from saying "faggot".
Imagine getting successfully dunked on by Jimmy fucking Kimmel in 2022. This is a man who couldn't even beat Ted Cruz, the whitest Mexican to ever touch American soil, at basketball.
If Nick getting his retarded "dating women is gay" speech broadcasted and mocked on national television by Jimmy fucking Kimmel doesn't make him lolcow of the year, I don't know what does.
This year has been really competitive in the lolcowsphere. First, Jim introduced Jack Murphy into play, but he petered out way too quickly. Then Ralph picked up the slack and ran as fast as he could to slam his face into as many fists possible, as hard as possible, but then he violated his order with the Vickers and ran to Mexico to evade the law.

Meanwhile, Lucas Roberts aka Keffals was slowly, but steadily making his way to the top of the competition by continually tripping over himself and falling into controversy to remain relevant, eventually reaching his zenith with #DropKiwifarms, making rounds in the media and grifting $100k from his followers. But then, the media moved on and his fame faded away, causing him to fall into a depression and slink to the back of the herd.

For a while, Elliot Fong-Jones and Sinseer looked like they would pick up Lucas's slack and keep #dropkiwifarms at the front of the pack, but unfortunately for them, Nick Fuentes pulled out his secret weapons: Kanye West and irrelevant, failed right wing internet star, Milo Yiannopoulos, which have currently propelled AmericaFirst to a strong, strong lead in the 2022 Lolcow Olympics.

There's still a month left, however! This race could be overtaken at any minute!
