Personally I'm a fan of those velcro ties you can cut to a given length, you can get them fairly cheap on Aliexpress. Here's a link of the offer I bought it from, you can get 5 meters of this stuff for pennies with free shipping, so it's not like it's a big loss if it somehow gets lost in the shipping. I like the velcro ties as well but I linked zip ties because I think velcro is to advanced for the guy raging about wired computer mice.
I mean wireless is good and all but purely wireless always sucks cause when the batteries fail I'd like to be able to remove them and use it wired instead off well buying a new one. Call me cheap but I like having the option. Agree on wireless networking though. Audio It depends. I know bluetooth is a pain in the ass but surprisingly on linux, the codecs make a pretty big difference. A2DP with pipewire is a fucking godsend because fuck pulse audio and the AAC codec is fantastic if you are just listening to music or something because there's at least a 0.5 second delay on audio. Now the next best option I found for that is the SBC-XQ codec. Yes you'll most likely notice the audio difference but it still doesn't sound all that bad for what it is and it has far less latency delay. I actually haven't even noticed any latency delay with that codec tbh.
I wouldn't really say its different - for the most part, what you said is correct. The thing I've noticed with GN is they tend to get stuck to something for a few months, then move on. Sometimes its things like the Newegg Crusade, sometimes its harping on shitty quality hardware, and sometimes their determination actually does drive them down a path that leads to good stories or discoveries.
