She also is just unhappy with her results aesthetically. But the surgeon has a great personality, she loves her!

MATI/PL: I've mentioned before that this troon bullshit is something I could see myself getting roped into if it existed when I was in middle/high school. The fact that Sidhbh targets children so aggressively is what makes her so abhorrent. My 65yo ever so slightly too woke for his own good father (who has some very strong opinions on the Farms) sees me watching this video over my shoulder. "I don't see what's wrong with this. It's just a doctor giving factual information." She's wearing a white coat and talking about medicine, so she must know what she's talking about and I only hate her so much because of Kiwi Farms. That mentality is horrifying. That's how you get people taking their six-day-old babies to chiropractors for adjustments. Woke parents + insecure kids going through puberty = perfectly legal and socially acceptable child abuse, I guess. I've met a lot of boomers like that. They don't seem to "see" ads or propaganda. I even spoke to one once who said she genuinely enjoys ads on TV because they "teach" her about products she can buy.
Doubly-weird because the WWII people I knew weren't like that. They had more respect for authority (and more faith in the government that I occasionally thought bordered on naivite), but less respect for publications and media.
I'm sure we younger people have similar blindspots and mental errors, but that one is just SO foreign to my life that it's mindblowing every time I encounter it.

I have to say that this makes me look at gallagher in a completely new way.

The source is a local Irish newspaper based in Drogheda town called The Argus, 27 November 1998. Whoever digitized this newspaper did a poor job with the contrast, so it's hard to clearly make out it's her. This KF post states she is from Louth, where Drogheda is based, and that she attended St. Louis school.:

The main towns are Drogheda and Dundalk. County Louth is technically Leinster but it is a border region and those surnames pang of Protestant - so I wouldn't be surprised if her background is actually Northern Ireland and she moved to Louth young (or her family had her there). Might try and do a deeper dive on her, Louth is not a big place.

Edit: She's supposedly from Louth Village and went to St. Louis Secondary School For Girls in Dundalk (possibly doing her leaving cert in De La Salle Boy's College next door) which would have been run by the Sisters of St. Louis when she was there. Based on the timeline she probably would have been class of 1998 or 1999. Irish people tend to powerlevel a lot by accident. There'll probably be 90 people in her graduating class at school and 90 people in her graduating class at UCD. Louth Village would have had a population of about 350 back when she lived there. It would be fascinating to find out if she was always a psycho.
