RWBY - The Hindenburg on which Rooster Teeth rests its hopes, dreams and future

Apologies for breaking the rewrite train here, but I do have some...fan content to share.

If you can call one of those JNPR dance edited videos that just have different music fan content as much as as your regular AMV.

Here it is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xCSA-i_5S_Y

Though the thing about this one that it's...I think this might be for us broskis.

Just take a listen (or look at the song list in the description), it has some legit bangers. Let me know which are your favorites - mine's, from a dance standpoint, the Motherlover one while the funniest IMO is the Gangsta Rap one.

RWBY x Justice League Movie revealed the VAs. At least we’re getting back to actual content again.

Thank you for making an archive on this. I hate the idea of giving these fucking parasites a cent or a click of attention.

They're really pushing forward with this garbage, aren't they? I bet this is going to be one of those made for TV/direct to video level specials, and not good shit like Batman Mask of the Phantasm or The Killing Joke or Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker.

It's weekly, FYI, with a Christmas break.

One weekly episode? Sounds easy enough that I can cover it.

This episode is basically working the same as the train station in the main episode of V6, with some exceptions:

-There’s a scene where we actually see Ruby giving her team the friendship bracelets, and she feels upset she didn’t get anything for JNR because she has no more money.

-Cardin and Team CRDL are guarding the train to Argus.

-Mercury and Emerald have argument over Cinder’s fate, with Emerald thinking Cinder is still alive. (There was a scene in the main show, IIRC, and I’m assuming Celtic just moved it up).

-Some of the Menagerie Militia is going to Vale to help the kingdom rebuild, while Ilia is taken back to custody in Menagerie, still unsure if she did the right thing in working to stop Adam. Blake hopes she figures out an answer to that question soon when Ilia says she’ll have a lot of time to think about it.

-After Roman and Neo had been missing throughout the episode, they’re found boarding first class.

-When the crew goes to board, all their weapons are taken away, with the exception of Qrow since he has a Hunstman license.

-The episode ends with the train leaving for Argus, with Adam watching in the distance.

What a real nothingburger of an episode. At least the actual show had something of a sense of forward momentum.

I don’t like Lilith, but I especially don’t like filler: https://at.tumblr.com/twilightguardian/well-well-looks-like-lil-is-still-up-to-her/qgnw1tmaov6z

  • Episode 2 continues on from episode 1 with what Ruby bought at the festival, revealing them to be friendship bracelets for WBY, establishing how happy she is that not only her team, but her friends are back.
  • Qrow is still drunk, and unlike in the show, it's becoming actually debilitating for those around him, with Jaune and Ruby having to carry him to the station.
  • Blake says goodbye to her parents, Sun and Ilia just like in canon.
  • There's also brief mention about the White Fang going to help Vale's recovery.
  • First episode we saw Roman and Neo pickpocketing people at the festival, and that got paid off when they got into first class on the train.
  • Mercury and Emerald have a discussion about Cinder and their differing views on her and parenthood.
  • Cardin and Russell replace Dee and Dudley both as characters we care about and filling in some exposition about the status in Vale.
  • Brief comedic scene where Yang tells Neptune the truth about 'Jane', because why keep friends in the dark about such things.
Again, don’t like Lilith at all, but filler is still filler. I hate filler that wastes the audience’s time and this clown is defending poorly executed filler. Who give a shit about Cardin?! WHY ARE YOU DEFENDING A FILLER EPISODE?!

Sorry. I got a little mad. Especially about this dickriding sack of shit review: https://www.reddit.com/r/RWBYcritic...urce=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf

The only filler I like are those that expand character interactions and lore. Poorly executed filler sucks ass. Period.

Sorry about the triple post. My PC was fucking up as usual.
Let's read this:

The way he's reworked but also maintained the lore is brilliant and very well thought out, not to mention it manages to do a few things very few rewrites manage to do for me.

  1. Make Roman and Neo likable(Fucking hate them in canon, love them in this rewrite)
  2. Makes Jaune likable (Hate him more than any other character so this is a feat)
  3. Maintains Adam's villainy without completely washing away the fucked up things he had done and had planned to do
  4. Salem feels like an actual overarching threat
  5. Side characters actually feel like they have importance and weight
There is so much more I could discuss but I think you get the gist. I literally took an entire day pretty much to sit down and watch EVERY SINGLE PART of his Fixing RWBY series on youtube and yes, I literally sat through a 5 hour video and I watched it all completely captured by Celtic Pheonix's storytelling. Like dude even managed to fix VOLUME FUCKING FIVE, do ya'll understand the actual FEAT that is? I don't think a lot of fans do because many fans DO NOT KNOW HOW TO IDENTIFY GOOD WRITING.

Like bro watch this shit and tell me which version of Vernal is better, I can promise you it's this one.

Vernal vs Weiss is WAY better in this version and makes infinitely more sense.

That's another thing I love about this rewrite, the many redesigns are legit FIRE. Seriously the idea of Vernal(Lilly) being Raven's second daughter is ACTUALLY FUCKING GENIUS. She's Raven's tribal daughter and so her basically being a mirror reflection of what Yang would've been like had she been raised by Raven is FANTASIC and having her die in the manner in which she does? Bruh, I am telling ya'll this is how it really should have gone down the more I think about it.

I love her little bear Grimm mask too, like mother like daughter

Adam's redesign incorporating more red is PERFECT. It thematically fits his character given his inspiration and it above all else and MAKES HIM LOOK LIKE A THREAT. It shows a steady decline in his sanity, showing that the deeper into his crusade he goes, the more blood that coats his being; ITS ALL CONNECTED MAN!

Basically turning him more into 'Red Vergil' but that's good! Embrace that!

No more zippers!
