So I’m a bit behind on the Lore, but from what I understand, the majority of the fics of been found, EXCEPT for Animal Magnetism.

I question if it’s even real to begin with. The only person to have claimed it’s real is a constant liar. Do we know if anyone ever actually read it? reviewed it?

If not, then I think Peet just made up writing it in order to seem more important.

You know, this makes me wonder, are there fans of hers who remember the bizarre Tara Callie or Mod Ebara sagas, and haven't questioned them in years? Same with Stockholm, she brought up writing it and how people reacted to it in her own videos, as well as on her own tumblr, all in living memory.

and while i think not saving the skin tone for all portrayals was exceptionally stupid, im not sure if i believe them, because

1. i dont think high sexualization is a stereotype of native american women? this might be because im not north american, but when i think "native american women", i think wise pocahontas style. the braid and feather earing are stereotypical, but theyre also presented in the true to life

2. there was a previous puppet with the sexualized red shirt, so im not sure she sees the outfit as something she wouldnt wear in real life

She seems darker on the left, but not Ariana Grande-tier IMO. Feels like a bit of a nothingburger.

It's utterly hilarious to me that she continuously shouts how her puppet is lighter than her or the lighting is different or whatever excuse she wants to claim when it's demonstrably false. Then again, 99% of the things she spouts are demonstrably false.

The puppet's skintone is 1% less saturated and 5% darker than her "True to Life" tone. Whether or not that's a significant margin or enough to warrant criticism I leave for others to decide for themselves, but it is factually darker regardless.

They're both darker than Lily is. Whether or not that's brown face, I can't say I care. I don't think its egregious, but Lily's native larp is pretty pathetic, and I definitely think she darkened up her avatar to support that.

The native American stereotypes I think of are basically more or less the same stereotypes of hick white people, but out west and having casino money. The wise native stereotype only really seems to exist in media and with really cooked liberals. Outside of tacky movies, I don't think it exists in real life in any of the communities with a high native population. The Rez is usually just a lot of poverty and jurisdictional nightmares for the police.

She's playing Pokemon and complaining about silent protagonists for the 1000nd time. She wants a Pokemon game with no plot or story. Someone in chat tried to paraphrase what she says in a funny way and Lily got pissed at them-

Lily: No, a individual- a character driven story. I don't need these big evil teams with this big evil ham fisted philosophies threatening the world, just let me have my own adventure. *pause* You see, a huge problem with the Pokemon story is that the player character is not allowed to be involved in any of it. Because you have to be the silent mute doing the heavy lifting, while other characters talk at you. And look, if you're going to be the protagonist, you have to be the protagonist. The story has to be- you know, you have to be in the story, not just stapled to it.
Pokemon games will continue to have bad story as long as the protagonist stays silent.

Then she goes on a big tirade about how Sun & Moon would have been the best Pokemon game ever if you were able to play as Lily, because then you'd be playing as someone that just escaped their abusive mother and every decision you make in the game would have the purpose of helping GameLily to get away from her mother/establish her own identity. And if you'd play as the abuse victim it would make sense for everyone talking gently to you and holding your hand trough everything – quote: "bc you're literally needing other people fort he first time and they now this and they get this."

Then, because she has no sense of self reflection, she trashes people that are against the idea of a silent protagonist because they are:

If they don't feel like it's their journey, if they don't feel like the character is an extension of them, the fucking mope and sulk and cry. But honestly I just think that Pokemon needs to tell these people to grow the fuck up and play some other games.

It the only thing of note from the last one that i just finished scrubbing through. Lily is working without food for the first half and its noticeably huffing and stress sighing more than normal. With a 30 minute break she runs to the local coffee shop to get a bagel, still out of breath, perhaps she is have a bad back day and is working through her pain. Regardless, her energy restored she proceeds to slag off Pokemon villians, debate streamers who've wronged her, Sugar, and anti critic culture. Mikay shows up and is barely conscious having just woken from a nap.
