I think Blackface Kermit made a great point that a lot of people have forgotten, but probably my second favorite thing about Jim / Old Jim: He could articulate full solid points, not missing anything, extremely concisely. "He could say in 100 words what others take 1000 pages to say." God, I wish _I_ had that power.

Asa made a fair point that often Jim would use and make famous stuff from other people without credit. People used to meme that Jim videos were just TLDR Kiwi Farms threads in video format. Which certainly there's a market for. Getting the entire story and funny of a lolcow in a 10-30 minute video from someone articulate and charismatic instead of a 1,000 page retarded mess of a thread. KC is the opposite, in that they take 1 page of a KF thread and make it a 10 hour stream.

But as far as the credit point Asa brought up, if I was Josh, for example, I'd have probably been frustrated at Jim at some points over the years. Jim has lots of money and gets to NEET it up in a big house with a wife, from basically reading KF, while Null put in the work of making this site happen and stay up, and his rewards for it have consisted of having to move to the 3rd world and constantly be on the lookout for sniper dots from all the people, corporations, and governments out to kill him, along with massive financial burdens.

Since the Godwinson stream was a funeral for Jim, I think I'll add my own bit, and also spin this post to be more on-topic. My favorite thing about Jim vids and streams was that he found funny and entertaining shit, and shared it. Not only opening my horizons to new avenues of entertainment, but a lot of his stuff was engaging because he was actually passionate. Like a friend eager to share something with you.

Which is also what I've enjoyed about a lot of Godwinson stuff over the last few months. Someone who's just making videos because they wanna share stuff that excites them, instead of because they need money for coke or 20 doordashes per day or chemotherapy.
