Phallo in Finland ruined my life

I got my phalloplasty on 11.09.2022 and it went well. However my surgeon said after one week to go home. Nurses tried to say to them that it is too soon. They didin’t care. Downhill came quickly as i moved much more at home, which is obvious. Stiches came loose. I got my second surgery on November, it went badly. They removed the testicles and i lost half of my phallo. It has been really painful to even go to have my wounds look at, the nurses there are really mean and disrespectful.

After that it has been one fucking hell to even talk to my surgeons. They don’t have time and even if i book calling appointment they don’t call. I had to cancel my tomorrows surgery because of the numbers of times i asked them to call me and they didin’t. I don’t feel comfortable to someone cut me open if i don’t know what is going to happen. If you live in Finland don’t do phallo here! They are going to ruin your body and mental health. I am now seeing psychiatrist because i am suicidal. Just wanted to rant. Sorry for typos.

It didn’t work

December 16th I had the 18th surgery on my penis. This was the 2nd buccal graft I’ve had. It didn’t work. I don’t even know how to feel right now. I had the foley for 25 days and it didn’t work. Getting a SP catheter in tomorrow AM and Wednesday we talk through options.

It’s a super long story but I had a blood clot in 2015 that messed a bunch of stuff up, almost lost my penis. I’ve had fistula after fistula that were all fixed. The last surgery was for a fistula was 5 years ago and it worked.

Then in August I noticed a change in my stream and sure enough I had a stricture forming. My urethra was 90% blocked and I had a UTI from it. So I had surgery for the stricture and it didn’t work. Now I have piss coming out of my sack. I’m so drained about it all.

Eighteen surgeries is absolutely insane. That's years of misery.
She hasn't even hit the decade mark year as she had her phallo in 2014. She's a great glimpse of the future for all these TiFs. Most of the one's we are dealing with in this thread are <3 years.

If anything, a pateint should rely on that feedback from doctors and nurses.

Could be swelling, but also could just be… how it is lol. Plenty of cis women’s vaginas look like that. Unless you specified a certain luck that does not involve that aspect, it’s not unreasonable that a surgeon just gave it some character like a natal vagina would have. If you’re unhappy with it after a year or two (swelling ruled out) you can always contact your surgeon for a revision, because that would be a very easy one.
