There are only so many nations & places on earth that:

This list is so small it fits on a sticky note. Screaming how the USA is trying to kill you while most of the non-west world struggles with homosexuality rights takes a lot of non-existent balls.

These never imagine that other countries have very different cultures that don't line up along American culture-war lines.

The article mentions a few Nordic countries that Erin and the other "trans activist" fetishize. Even leaving aside things like Sweden and Finland's recent reversals on trans issues. These countries might often be what Americans consider "liberal" on social and economic issues, but culturally they can be very conservative, in the sense of sticking to what they know and not welcoming outsiders.

Best case scenario, an American somehow waltzes in with a visa just for being trans, they won't be welcomed and accepted. The locals will freeze them out and the immigrants will harass them on the street (if they don't outright beat them up). This probably applies to the majority of European countries, TBH.

Even the non-pedo troons seem to have this obsession with youth. I put it down to arrested development and an inability to relate to the adult world.

"Trans youth" get pushed in order to launder fetishes (and all the other unpleasant societal forces that cause someone to claim to be "trans," like sexual abuse, grooming, MBP, homophobia...). If innocent kids can be trans, then transgenderism must be innocent and natural.

Tony wants teenagers and families with "trans kids" in the background of his pride selfies because they reflect better on him. That's it. He's a narcissist, he only thinks of other people in terms of how they can serve him or harm him.

Edit: It’s all quite tedious because Tony goes on about this topic at length, but there’s nothing of substance there unless you agree that it is possible to be “born in the wrong body”, ie that to be “trans” is some fundamental truth about a person. If you believe that, instead, rejection of your sexed body is a symptom of some underlying mental health problem, Tony’s whole argument falls at the first hurdle.

Also funny that Tony’s losing his shit over the Guardian publishing a reader’s letter objecting to the use of the term “queer”. The Graun is easily the most troon-supportive paper in Britain (along with whatever identity politics du jour imported from the US). Really shows that to be counted as an “ally” to have to do what you’re told by the transgender priesthood without deviation.
