There are some things about Chance that aren't his fault, like his small size, being bald, his summer teeth, that shit is all genetic and no one can do anything about it. If you're confused about the mom/grandma thing, it's because he's been adopted by his grandma and calls her mom. But for all accounts he's not inbred, his family tree has no recursions.

He's definitely got fetal alcohol syndrome, and his mom was mentally retarded. So retarded that her first child was taken by the state when it was born, and maybe Raxx was too, but Sally adopted him.

He was definitely a premature baby. His birth weight fluctuates, but he said it's around 1lb. And he only has one lung and one kidney.

There's a few birth defects I've speculated on, but there's no hard proof. Like he's done art for a charity that does cleft palate surgeries for kids, and he's definitely got some tooth shit going on... But there's no way to confirm if he had it.
