I don't understand why it's such a big deal that celebrities have different opinions than their fans. Clint Eastwood giving a speech to an empty chair in support of Republicans is cringe, but who cares? He's still a great, iconic actor who's legacy will go on for decades after his death. Celebrities are people just like you and me. They are not a monolith and have the same type of complex collection of opinions and values that normies are, but unlike normies they have legions of people who get assblasted if they do any sort of wrongthink.

I think there's a secret third option where men feel like men's clothes are boring and they can't express the look they want with them. I have heard men complaining about the lack of variety in everyday men's clothes while women have tons more options. You can be a goth or dress like an anime character without being a women. You'll just need to shop at less mainstream places. Hell you can even wear clothes from the women's department without even being a crossdresser, liking women's t-shirts and accessories for example doesn't make you a woman. A confident man can wear those things and own it if they're invested in their style.
