Katie also stated that some of these organizations share the philosophy that anyone engaged in "sex work" from prostitues to cam girls are considered trafficing victims whether it was consentual or non-constentual. I image that this is the veiw of the more conservative and religous organization.

When has anyone ever been responsible for the actions of others? So I'm supposed to just believe Eliza is a victim.. multiple members of Timcast were threatened and Eliza somehow knows it wasn't her or anyone with her.. how would you know if we are supposed to believe all victims?
Is this a claim regarding the Quartering message that was clearly not a threat? Why would you feel the need to come out and say, "you have my permission to write a hit piece..." that shouldn't be something within your call as the journalist is supposed to go where the story goes.. not where the puff piece is.. with permission to look like they are okay with something.. I rounded up her various claims about the first trafficking episode here. The Cashman article doesn’t change anything, just adds some extra detail to one of the variations of her story: 15, photographer, groomed, 17, LA, musician, sold, OD, home, back to LA.

This episode is harder to disprove with outside information available online, even though her story is relatively detailed. (It was 1998, after all.) In contrast, her story about the second episode of trafficking has been kept vague, perhaps because she knows she has a fairly large Internet footprint over this period.

I don’t have any concrete evidence to support this, but my theory is that she went off to LA just before her 18th birthday to pursue fame and fortune. Maybe she had a bad experience with some drugs, and went back to Illinois for a bit, but I don’t believe the rest of it.

The dates are interesting. Eliza's current story is that she went to a safe house run by Eve's Angels in summer 2013, stayed for three months, and then went back to her trafficker. So these are taken right when Eliza would have supposedly recently returned to her trafficker.
