Troons are sick the way they are targeting children right now.

Tony still insisting that Brianna Ghey was killed for being a troon despite there still being no evidence to support that allegation.

This fixation on the postmortem gender certificate is like a horrible parody of how Mormons will baptize people after death. Troonism really has bedecked itself in the trappings of religion and ritual. Mimicries of baptism/new birth (surgeries to instantiate the "new self") , confession and flagellation (performative confessions of "racism"/"white supremacy"), even absolution (sucking the girldick).

Every criticism of stunting children's development and sterilising them is a right-wing conspiracy, part 94.

"Doing a cursory search of google stories, it's a few right wing outlets covering it and some Republican representatives talking about it ... One of the major reasons I predict this 'controversy' will fail so strongly is because"

I love that he completely misses the forest for the trees. This "controversy" will "fail" because it's a random story about some shit nobody cares about. If it's part of the larger pro-genocide narrative it's a data point, knocking it down or upholding it or it just being a blip does nothing to the overall drive. Tony obviously believes every thing that crosses his "desk" is going to be the grand dramatic battle that decides the entire course of the war. This is pretty typical thinking of both narcissists and those with anxiety/depression. Hyperfixation on the immediate or possible immediate while dismissing any potential second order effects as unworthy of consideration is highly evidenced in troons. This is not to say that Tony (or on the pro-child-murder side, Jesse Singal) is wrong to go after any specific article or argument but to point to Tony's mentality. (Singal regularly shows he understands the "struggle" to be the complete opposite.)

Edit: Also, Katie Herzog, an actual lesbian
True lesbians, real women of any kind, don't throw their trans sisters under the bus to benefit fascists.

Tony's abstract reasoning skills are on par with Jeff Spicoli.

I see Zach got brain amoebas when he fell in the river. Tony’s not going to do shit. All the troons can do is wail and make empty threats, and Tony’s no different - he just has a better line in preaching to the choir.

Fortunately, none of them need saving, because they’re a bunch of coddled, middle-class white boys in no danger at all.

Tony’s in the paper (St Louis Post-Dispatch).

Choice of lawyers for whistleblower at St. Louis transgender clinic taints her motive, critics...png

Researcher and transgender rights activist Erin Reed, 34, who helps track transgender legislation across the U.S., maintains a map of clinics providing gender-affirming care and writes about transgender health and legal issues in a newsletter with tens of thousands of subscribers.

She said Broyles’ group is one of the first organizations to get support for bans on gender-affirming care for trans youths and that she often appears alongside conservative organizations like Moms for Liberty, which supports prohibiting classroom instruction for young children on gender and sexuality issues.

“To say that she is very active in this circuit would be an understatement,” Erin Reed said. “She is one of the main players.”
Erin Reed contends Jamie Reed’s allegations have several red flags in addition to her working with Broyles, including how she refers transgender boys and girls by their assigned sex at birth.

“The groups that she is working with, Vernadette Broyles; and the way that she presents her case; the way she even talks about transgender people — the way that she misgenders every single one that she talks about in her article — does not paint of picture of an individual with no ideological motivation and lack of bias,” Erin Reed said.

It’s the usual complaint that Jamie Reed can’t be trusted because the lawyer representing her is aligned with Republican anti-trans elements. (Plus a complaint about “misgendering”, but that’s entirely specious because we need to be able to talk about the sex of the patients.)

It did remind me of the story in the NY Times about schools not telling parents that they were transing kids at school. The reporter of that story, Katie Baker, describes several of the parents as solid US-liberals who had to turn to conservative groups because they were the only people challenging gender ideology.

"Why would they hire a lawyer well-versed in this trans nonense to represent them????"
damn tony, that's a real thinker.

I've noticed that Tony and Weird Al are both huge fans of the concept of guilt by association.
Erin and Alex are very fond calling TERFs Nazis, while covering up for rapists and pedophiles. Note how the revelation that Scottish prisons were housing intact males stunlocked Nicola Sturgeon, but was a source of contention for Tony - if he mentioned it.

It goes both ways. We're at the "I may be a baby raping Troon but at least I'm not a Nazi".
