Definitely the latter. Whenever men in crowded, loud public places (like, oh say, a gig) touch/gently push my lower back I assume they're indicating that they need to pass behind me and I'm blocking the way. It's a gentle nudge to please move aside, not some sexual invitation.Ah yes the common male mating ritual of...touching a woman's lower back?
Do you think when he was making this story up he wanted to say he got his ass grabbed but was afraid of being cancelled for glorifying rape culture? Or do you think this actually did happen but people were pushing the gross troon out the way so they could see the stage?
Not all physical contact between men and women (or male-in-drag in his case) is sexual, but he probably doesn't understand that.
Plus, my experience of men who grope in public is that they don't pussy about with the lower back. They go straight for the juicy bits.
