I never realised how Little Mermaid is eerily relevant to trans females. Here’s a young girl who falls in love with Prince Charming, and the Prince is a stand-in for any delusional fantasy that doesn’t exist outside the young girl’s mind. She disowns her family who try to speak reason into her, and she makes a deal with the Witch (Big Pharma and the Gender Cult). The Mermaid mutilates her body and sacrifices her voice (her agency?) in return for faulty legs that give her continuous and immense pain—surgery complications. She feels out of place and cannot fit in. The Prince doesn’t love her and only finds her entertaining. He then marries another woman (the shattering of the fantasy) and the Mermaid commits suicide.

I'll be a nerd and explain: All Tomorrows is a future history sci-fi book that takes a speculative look at human evolution into a myriad of species and cultures alike as humanity spreads across the galaxy, complete with all the trials and tribulations involved therein. It's actually a pretty fun little book for an afternoon or evening - lovely illustrations and a bit of a surprise, but heartfelt, twist at the very end.I haven't heard of All Tomorrows before. Any funny/interesting references we should know about? Is this where the mysterious "poonsack" originates?
Of course, if All Tomorrows has optimism to it, then Pooners has to be what happens when humanity goes terribly, terribly wrong.

for a while now, i’ve had some disordered eating habits (?) (i’m not actually saying i have an ed because i’m not diagnosed with one). i put on a bit of weight last year from a combination of not really being that active and also puberty and stuff giving me a more curvy build (i’m a 15 y/o trans guy), and wanted to lose some to get rid of the curves from my hips and chest. it started off normal, but quickly turned into an obsession over calorie counting, excessive exercise, feeling absolutely horrible if i eat more than 600 calories in a day, and just wanting to lose as much weight as i can. what started off as something i was doing to alleviate dysphoria is now causing it. having an eating disorder is pretty much exclusively associated with girls. of course there are men out there with them too, but everyone’s first thought of someone with an eating disorder is an anorexic teen girl, right? it’s the same thing with self harm, too, which is another one of my bad coping mechanisms. it’s just always associated with girls, especially the specific type of self harm i do.
i feel like i’m not masculine enough sometimes not only because of the associations but also with the fact that i have all of these destructive ways of dealing with my emotions. i don’t want to deal with them at all, just shove them away like so many other guys do.

I can't say, unfortunately. I skimmed a wiki on All Tomorrows creatures once, and the modular pooner in the first image triggered a memory. I think the sky queefer comes from something else entirely.
The closest thing to a telling reference is that most of the posthumans in All Tomorrows had been artificially altered into unnatural shapes by arrogant idealogues, then left to fend for themselves and sometimes die off. Apply to troons, pooners and SRS as you will.
