I’ve noticed that it always seems to be the people with the minor disabilities who complain that they can’t do anything - I have a friend who’s blind, two with severe mobility issues and one who’s bipolar, and they all hold jobs down. Meanwhile, Dave has a “disability” that prevents him from having a job, but weirdly doesn’t prevent him from doing anything he wants to do.

The subtext of posts like this is always, “So if you find the thread, there’s no need for you to look at it, hahahaha! It’s all just lies, and you’ll be wasting your time as much as them, haha! Ignore the man behind the curtain!”

It literally always has the opposite effect. Especially if they keep bringing it up. The people who believe zero-effort troons like Dave in the first place never actually visit KF. But if a lolcow tells his followers that there’s a publicly accessible place where people are spreading lies about him, a whole bunch of his followers will go looking for it, purely out of curiosity. I'd love to know who the primary account holder is, whether it's D or D's father. If it's the latter, he has every right to cut off D for whatever reason.

It's one thing for an adult to have one or both parents on the account with secondary access so that bills get paid in the event of an emergency such as an extended hospital stay. To have a totally joint account, however, is stupid because the other person can do almost anything with the account and money contained therein.

Yup. I have a relative with a pretty severe vision problem who not only manages to work (in a job where being able to see is important!) but also take care of a relative with health problems. Part of being a grown up is to work with the cards you've been dealt in life to the best of your ability. Dave in many ways acts like a child. Actually, in most ways.
