That’s 1/3 of the issue….

I think there’s three large umbrella issues that whatever else can lumped under:

1) Delusion/“I’ll be the exception to the rule” fueled mindset…. Made worse by the fact that she truly has been an exception to a lot of rules… her merit as any kind of artist is absolutely fair game to debate, but just the fact that she became a successful recording artist that lasted longer than 2 early 80’s hits is already beating ASTRONOMICAL ODDS….which reinforces rather magical thinking, especially the longer this successfully goes on….this megalomaniacal monster has been fed for DECADES…. it’s going to take more that a few bitchy comments online to make her rethink her actions, let alone change them in earnest…

2) She’s self aware as in she’s intentionally provocative (graphic sex everything, burning crosses in. music videos, no eyebrows. etc), but she’s not self aware enough to understand how people’s reactions to these “shocking” things can and often does affect the way people perceive her…. She’s not confident enough as a person or artist to be provocative and damn whatever consequences may come because it’s the statement she wanted to make and that’s that….She’s provocative and then looks around like “aren’t I wild/different/incredible? I’m amazing” and her ego is tied to the outcome/ability to drop jaws/be the talk of the town…There’s no art for art’s sake, which is in and of itself a type of a lack of self awareness too…. If she had the right self awareness, she wouldn’t look like the Bogdanoff’s long lost little sister, she would have a fan base and legacy like Cher and Dolly Parton, and she wouldn’t have a thread at Kiwi Farms….

3) Maternal Narcissism (lack of boundaries with her kids, emotional incest, inappropriate sexual behavior, etc) and her own sexual issues….. bad combo….I have been marinating on this exact thing with her and will do a bit of a deep dive on it, but I want to get my thoughts in order first (scary….)

Women are worth more than their fuckability, obviously, but Madonna's entire career is based around that.
