Joshintosh can't get it up anymore unless people are outraged, and he's scraping the bottom of the barrel.

Even Jack Thompson's not this big of an insufferable cunt.He continues to be 20 years late to the virtue signalling brigade

This is what he does for fun. What does this guy do for fun?
You know how some people get sexual pleasure from having extreme physical pain inflicted on them? What does this guy do for fun?
What does this guy do for fun?
I have actually seen it argued by SJWs and the alt-Right that fun things are merely a distraction provided by the Patriarchy/feminists/reptilian aliens to keep us complacent and not fight back. Not because, you know, people like being entertained, and even people in active war zones seek things to bolster their spirits and take their minds off the living hell they're trapped in."Fun" is an oppressive tool of the Patriarchy, which Josh is helping to dismantle by aggressively not enjoying things. As a sinful white male, it's the most he can do.
Edit:
Also what's this guys degree in?
Exactly. This is why I can gun down hordes of enemy soldiers in whatever FPS war game I'm playing this week, or shoot raiders in Fallout 4 and not feel bad. They aren't real. They don't actually exist. Playing violent video games will not make me grab an assault rifle and shoot up a movie theater/nightclub/school/whatever. Mass shooters who played violent video games didn't go on killing sprees because of the games, they played the games because they gave them an outlet for violent urges that were already present. And what of the recent mass shooters who didn't play violent video games? How does Jonathan account for them?He can't seem to see the logical conclusion that has been arrived at by 8 year olds for 20 years, now: Pokemon aren't real. They do not have the ability to feel physical or emotional pain, given that they aren't real. Thus, there's nothing morally wrong with this
The same way he accounts for the overall historical trend away from violence which can be observed in every civilization on the planet.Exactly. But Law and Order did that GamerGate episode, therefore they can do no wrong. The same way he accounts for the overall historical trend away from violence which can be observed in every civilization on the planet.
He ignores it. Hitler? Timur? Solano López? Never even knew videogames existed? Well, shoot. They couldn't possibly have been desensitized enough to kill people! Now let's talk about Law & Order: SVU. . . .
That's why I put them in the quote. But Law and Order did that GamerGate episode, therefore they can do no wrong.
It kinda shows how out of touch with people Jonathan was that he was surprised people made fun of him for comparing Pokemon to dog fights-something which has been a tongue in check joke for decade. For a guy who wants to critique pop culture he's remarkably oblivious.

Hmmmmmm, looking at Jonathan's instagram implies he has an enthusiasm for card games

Netrunner in particular, odd to see him indulging in cyberpunk-a genre know for moralmyopia. A little re-assuring however to see a human traits, I assumed he's just into boring hipster crap.
