RWBY - The Hindenburg on which Rooster Teeth rests its hopes, dreams and future

Returning Jaune to his younger self is beyond retarded.

Did they de-age him? No. He has still lived all those extra years.

Did they address his trauma, heal his wounds? No. He's still a man who could not protect people, a man who lost the love of his life, and Alyx, and wasted his years away guarding paper pleasers and denying himself the opportunity to go home by just accepting the Afterans were correct about ascension.

So then literally what is the point of making him appear young again? He's not a young man, he's an old man. He still has experiences of an older man. This was the ONE thing that they could have left in to show, hey don't worry guys, this isn't a filler arc, there will be real consequences for the cast from this. But they didn't. They changed him back before they got back to the plot because you know, Jaune living 12 extra years isn't important to anyone, not even Jaune. It's not like he fell in love again, or developed any new fighting skills, or changed in any consequential way. That would be too realistic. Nope, we can literally handwave the entire last third of this middle-aged man's life because it wasn't part of the plot and therefore had no impact.

Don't worry guys, the memes are still coming.

Does anyone know if 10k ratings is a lot? Because it really doesn't sound like a lot, especially since RT has been begging RWBY fans to brigade hard for season 10, but I don't really know what is normal for CrunchyRoll's stats because I am not a huge faggot who pays for anime.

But yeah, you can really hear the desperation through the tweets from Kerry and everyone supporting RWBY. Even they are aware that RWBY is on thin ice and are desperate to try and make this waste of a season look good.

Yeah, de-aging him but still keeping the memories is an odd take. Especially if they hook him up with anyone because weirdos on Twitter will call him a pedo or something.

Star Vs did something similar only actually implied being a man in a kids body would fuck with the guy at the end of the episode…and then it didn’t.

It's not. You should check out the ratings for attack on titan.

I didn't hate this.

In fact, although it's certainly faint praise, this volume is the best rwby has been in years.

I'm disappointed Ruby didn't really agonize or change more, or at the very least get off her chest that all of this is not what she expected or asked for when she first went to Beacon. I think a more angry and mature Ruby could've been an interesting direction. Also I would've liked her to have been a little more vindictive towards Neo since Neo honestly does not really deserve a happy ending or forgiveness at this point. She didn't do anything to earn it.

Also annoyed that Jaune got de-aged since that was also a really interesting direction and should've stayed.

But in the end I liked this fairy tale adventure, I'm admittedly a sucker for Alice in Wonderland but it was enjoyable. The main plot of rwby has become such a mess that something detached from it like this is pretty welcome. Something that focused entirely on our main cast was nice even though Weiss was once again just kind of there. And as much as I hate Blake and Yang being a couple it's good that it's finally happened and Ruby knows about it too. Now shit can move forward. Tying things into the Brothers was probably the best this volume could do to make it relevant, it's not a bad origin story in my opinion although I don't think it was really necessary in the first place. I sincerely hope Ruby tells the Brothers to go fuck themselves if they ever come back to Remnant.

The cat was a good character, really seems like a genuine, if annoying, ally at first before you just start to learn more and more about him and the world of the Ever After.

The scene in episode 9 where they all find the crystal helpers rebuilding the town and everything was really good, even kind of beautiful. The brief Summer Rose we got in episode 10 was also good.

And the opening theme song and visuals for the volume is probably my favorite since volume 3.

"Guyz, we need to finish the story!"
Then don't waste time making filler arcs oh my god, how stupid can you get.
Maybe a few team members actually care, but I'm betting most don't give two flying fucks about story. The longer they can keep this going the longer they keep their jobs is what it is.

I was mostly referring to fans. Obviously RT needs this to continue.
As for me? Any hype I had for continuing the story instantly died the second I saw the V8 post-credit scene. It was incredible.

Ah. The way you worded the first post led me to believe it was referring to the creative minds behind this... I'm just going to stick with calling it a 'this'.

Watching Rwbyfags sit in the retard corner circlejerking eachother over a show with d-tier animation and z-tier writing has been more entertaining than watching the actual show.
Its fucking baffling how a show this mid manages to maintain an audience of obsessive freaks ready to scalp anyone that says something negative about it.
Based on their reactions to Moist watching their show, youd think he was running around curbstomping infants and lighting cancer patients on fire
