Beach Volleyball would like a word.
You're advocating for the upheaval of the Constitution
I'm so glad that's gone, otherwise you couldn't enjoy Cuties. Ah, progress!pretend it's 1950 when the Hays Code still existed.
I did so in relevant ways, just because they're tough questions doesn't mean you can pretend they're random. This coming form the guy who randomly introduced, let me count: drugs, children and troons into the debate
I wish, you degenerates would be very unhappy campers.my opinion as OnionFarms_Ness trumps the courts
You should get on making that thread then. It really would probably be pretty easy to track me down.Trying to build a rep across different websites with the same user name, avatar, etc. is lolcow behavior. I haven't done anything approaching that since probably 12 years ago. But it will make you easy to track down I guess if you ever end up with a thread here.
Why are you so sure someone's sexual inclinations can't be changed and/or strengthened by the porn they consume, even when there's people's testimonies to the contrary? The idea anyone was made gay or into a troon from watching porn is bullshit.
Druggies argue drugs are harmless too, hence why I bring it up as a point of comparison. Gamblers do the same thing. You're no different.Glad you're admitting banning harmless things for the "greater good" is asinine libtard nanny state behavior.
And what are you going to do about the constitution faggot? Nothing like usual? Like I said adult children that live in fantasy worlds in their heads. This isn't even really a debate at this point because you got shut down on every flimsy point you put forth. It's more like a psych exam. May as well have you respond to ink blotches so you can find the hidden jews in them. lol
Ah yes, like how you randomly just brought up drugs for no reason like the word just popped into your head. In fact you listed it first, drugs and porn, even though it had not be mentioned in the entire thread up to that point. You really got a strong grip on how human communication works at this point.I did so in relevant ways, just because they're tough questions doesn't mean you can pretend they're random.
Adult man child and his fantasies everyone. lol Do you team up with Batman as well to teach us a lesson?I wish, you degenerates would be very unhappy campers.
Are you admitting you are a cow now?You should get on making that thread then. It really would probably be pretty easy to track me down.
Because sexual attraction/sexual orientation doesn't work that way. That's like saying that food caused your hunger and if just the food went away, hunger would be solved. It's absurd. Are you speaking from your own experience here or something? Is there some hilarious backstory to your anger at porn? Did it make you gay for a while? lolWhy are you so sure someone's sexual inclinations can't be changed and/or strengthened by the porn they consume, even when there's people's testimonies to the contrary?
And it's just common sense, if you're exposed to something it might have an influence on you. If you sit in the barber shop long enough you'll get a haircut.
Comparing doing drugs to looking at computer screen is retarded, and you should feel bad about it. You didn't bring it up as a point of comparasion either you. You just radnomly said "drugs and porn" after my ice cream comparasion like it had already been discussed together in some context.Druggies argue drugs are harmless too, hence why I bring it up as a point of comparison. Gamblers do the same thing. You're no different.
When did I say I was going to do anything about it? I just know it is inadequate as-is in current year, and I'm right, and as usual, you are wrong. And what are you going to do about the constitution faggot? Nothing like usual? Like I said adult children that live in fantasy worlds in their heads. This isn't even really a debate at this point because you got shut down on every flimsy point you put forth. It's more like a psych exam. May as well have you respond to ink blotches so you can find the hidden jews in them. lol
You're literally just whining now.Ah yes, like how you randomly just brought up drugs for no reason like the word just popped into your head. In fact you listed it first, drugs and porn, even though it had not be mentioned in the entire thread up to that point. You really got a strong grip on how human communication works at this point.
I prefer to team up with Superman.Adult man child and his fantasies everyone. lol Do you team up with Batman as well to teach us a lesson?
You're saying I'm exhibiting lolcow behavior, so I'm inviting you to get a headstart. Are you admitting you are a cow now?
Sure, so you say it doesn't work that way. And your hunger analogy sounds like poorly throughout nonsense.Because sexual attraction/sexual orientation doesn't work that way. That's like saying that food caused your hunger and if just the food went away, hunger would be solved. It's absurd. Are you speaking from your own experience here or something? Is there some hilarious backstory to your anger at porn? Did it make you gay for a while? lol
Maybe you should try to argue why it's retarded then. It's almost like you can't or something.Comparing doing drugs to looking at computer screen is retarded, and you should feel bad about it. You didn't bring it up as a point of comparasion either you. You just radnomly said "drugs and porn" after my ice cream comparasion like it had already been discussed together in some context.
How would you get others to agree that the constitution needs to be removed over this 1 issue and not have it fuck you over in the long run?
Amend is probably a better choice of words than remove, but as to your question, carefully. It's not something one retard can make an airtight case for in a single forum post, but anyone can see this whole free speech thing only works in a sane country. How would you get others to agree that the constitution needs to be removed over this 1 issue and not have it fuck you over in the long run?
What about comparing porn and gambling? Drugs are something you consume by eating/injecting/smoking etc. Porn is a lot like gambling in that it induces a thrill or emotional response that the person can become addicted to. Similarly they have a clear pattern of escalation for many addicts, seeking bigger thrills.Comparing doing drugs to looking at computer screen is retarded
CP and other criminal material (for now at least), like actual rape footage, aside, many types of porn are clearly worse than drugs:In fact, certain types of porn might be worse than drugs, loli hentai for example.
I'd hesitate to believe "a source in North Pyongan Province". I suspect the punishment is real, but I doubt they would wait for a crime to be committed to make an example of someone. It's North Korea after all. It might have been a totally innocent victim, or just somebody looking at a slightly provocative ad in a way they thought was inappropriate. And Women's Track and Field would also like to have a word as well. And Indoor Volleyball would probably bring bloomer shorts back for Women, to try to capitalize on porn bans...
On the topic itself, the fact that some countries ban porn (i.e. South Korea), and yet their males still end up deviants, going as far as to becoming IRL voyeurs, in the case of SK, goes to show that people will find a way to get their rocks off, even if the said thing ends up being worse than watching porn. Heck, some guys even find ways to watch porn in North Korea, and one poor boy ended up getting himself and his family sent away to the countryside, after getting caught watching porn.
Give me the rough details about how you would do it?an airtight case
I'm not delusional, I don't think I'm smart enough to even draft out rough details for an amendment. I can give you a very broad goal though; ban bad speech.Give me the rough details about how you would do it?
Debatable.I'm not delusional
Those who would sacrifice freedom for safety deserve neither. Honestly your ideas sound dumb and gay, that's why people don't like them. We've done the puritan thing and everyone hated it, we already have laws in place regarding adult content but the real kicker is that it's parents who don't do the bare minimum in making sure their kids aren't exposed to this sort of content. That's the issue, not porn itself. I can use every argument you've made for porn for guns and all I'd have to do is replace porn for gunsbut there absolutely needs to be more guardrails
Quaint, but it was a different time, a different place. I very much doubt it applies to this. And as I mentioned, we already have illegal speech, so these types of guardrails already exist, they're just too limited and often reserved to specific circumstances. Merely expanding these guardrails isn't some unimaginable assault on freedom. Those who would sacrifice freedom for safety deserve neither.
We've seen what people like, how's the most popular president doing?Honestly your ideas sound dumb and gay, that's why people don't like them.
Can't please everybody, but it was better. Anecdotally, I've been seeing a lot of people who hated it begrudgingly admit it was better than the alternative we have now. We've done the puritan thing and everyone hated it
They're too busy taking them to Drag Queen Story Hour to monitor their porn intake, have some understanding.parents who don't do the bare minimum in making sure their kids aren't exposed to this sort of content.
You can try.I can use every argument you've made for porn for guns and all I'd have to do is replace porn for guns
Why do you believe that you have authority over what legal content I am allowed to watch? I never gave you that.Merely expanding these guardrails isn't some unimaginable assault on freedom.
Comparing drowning in quicksand to drowning in water isn't really the best comparison to make.I've been seeing a lot of people who hated it begrudgingly admit it was better than the alternative we have now.
That's not really a good justification for a fundamental change to the country. Besides, Brandon is bringing us all together. In hating current yearWe've seen what people like, how's the most popular president doing?
Key term there, legal content. I don't want to have authority over what legal content you're allowed to watch, but I wouldn't mind deciding what constitutes "legal content".Why do you believe that you have authority over what legal content I am allowed to watch? I never gave you that.
I'd agree, problem is you consider them both drowning when that isn't true. There's also no alternative, you will "drown" in the good or the bad. There is no middleground, liberals will push for degeneracy and conservatives willComparing drowning in quicksand to drowning in water isn't really the best comparison to make.
When the system is inadequate fundamental changes are required. That's not really a good justification for a fundamental change to the country.
Besides, Brandon is bringing us all together. In hating current year
Why do you care? We already state that it should only be accessible to 18+, already have sex trafficking laws on the books and punish those who commit such acts to under 18s or show pornographic acts to them. Why this we can go further mentality? The whole debate is over whether porn should be legal or not
I'd just fucking shoot you tbh.quote Franklin's Liberty/Safety line, or you agree with me
Them too. Fuck off and leave me alone, it's not that hard. Your culture war is fake and gay bullshit drummed up for advertiser money. You really wanna make a change then go after the heads of JP Morgan Chase, Visa and Mastercard instead of fucking with me.liberals and conservatives
Well of course, if you are Libertarian to the degree that you believe we should decriminalize heroin and cocaine and let that be sold by big business from vendors on every street, it is reasonable that you wouldn't sympathize with the position that we should criminalize pornography. But as it happens, the status quo all over the world, including America, is that society governs and restricts grown consenting adults from doing certain things with their body, namely abusing hard drugs or engaging in a commercial transaction to aquire them. We set these restrictions on people because hard drugs on an individual level are a form of self-mutilation of both body and soul that makes you more beastly and less human inasmuch as to be human is to be a rational animal, and on a social level is an immediate threat to the polis. Personally, I believe we aren't going far enough in our laws against such substances--while drug users deserve clemency and compassion (which can only be accomplished by forcefully interning them in strict rehabilitation programmes, because such people fundamentally cannot help themselves), drug dealers are poison-peddlers, who profit from the suffering and destruction of men and communities, actively engage in propagating this poison to those previously untouched by it, and are as culpable for this death they caused as are murderers, and should all be shot--the point however is that the basic moral intuition of humanity at large is that people should not be allowed to do whatever they will with their body. You are not allowed to kill yourself. You are not allowed to maim yourself (this includes "gender-affirming surgery"). Error has no rights. The notion that people somehow have a "right" to self-destruct is ludicrous. From where would you derive that right? When in America you drafted your constitution, your founders cited God. Clearly, that cannot be done in this case. That people should feel compelled to accept a neglegt on behalf of the legislative aspect of the social body when it comes to some very clear and very obviously detrimental social ills is entierly baseless. Pornography has no right to exist. Obscenity has no political value. It is not liberty and it is not speech. It contributes in no way to the political freedoms of a community or an individual. It has the same value as a miasmatic swamp, and its supression would be equally as tyrannical and oppressive as when when a gathering of village-men drain the swamp and turn its soil into life-giving farmland.Pornography as an industry and as a consumable is inherently evil and destructive in the same way addictive drugs are. It can and has warped the minds and habits of many men and women in negative ways, that’s been established a million times.
However, I don’t believe the government should intervene in porno, obviously things like CP are different subjects but we’re talking about porn as we understand the topic here. The ideal solution would be a culture of self responsibility, and a culture that is formed of strong individuals who can abstain from things such as drugs, alcohol abuse, porn, prostitution, etc, but lol right like that’s going to happen.
The only solution that is viable is to logically explain why porn is a problem, how to navigate around it, and leave it to the individual to make their own choice even if that choice is the wrong one. I’m very libertarian on things like drugs and porn and such, but I personally abstain because I understand the negative consequences if I don’t. If someone reaches the same conclusions then good for them, if they don’t then they don’t.
This but unironically.Boobies bad, calling people nigger good.
Well going by the research if you think we should ban porn, you should also believe we should ban sugar. Both are reportedly as addictive as cocaine.Well of course, if you are Libertarian to the degree that you believe we should decriminalize heroin and cocaine and let that be sold by big business from vendors on every street,
