If you're not familiar with the story of Job, Job loses everything and is all but destroyed after Satan tell God that he can get Job to curse God. After everything goes tits up, Job has a few friends who come over and more or less rub his nose in his mess. Chapter 12 is him telling them to shut their hell up. The section that she's quoting is Job telling his dickhead friends "Yeah. I know God did this. Even the stupid animals know God did this!" Why she decided to use this whole section is bewildering to me. The only thing that I can think is that she had heard the part that she put on her aprons and shirts and in a meth fueled state said to herself "I like animals and that needs to be on stuff that I can sell!" but when she sobered up realized that only having one verse didn't make it seem really important/deep so she just added a few extra verses to make it that much better.

I personally believe Faith is highly motivated by her father's approval at best and outright controlled by him at worst. She ran away across the country to fuck the father surrogate she found on the internet because dad didn't pay attention to her growing up. That's some deeply seeded fucked up shit even if she is getting some kind of useful therapy to address it. The fact that Vickers says he has nothing to do with her legal filings only clinches for me that he has everything to do with her legal filings.

Vickers’ latest legal retardation makes Faith more sympathetic imo. It’s been clear for a while that Ralph and Vickers have more in common than either would like to admit, but now they also share being more interested in scoring a ‘win’ than the happiness or safety of either Faith or Xander.
