Electors can vote for whoever they want. It's been tried at least twice that I can remember. Ron Paul tried to do it to Mitt Romney in 2012 so the GOP changed their rules (ignoring the voice vote) to prevent him from gaining any delegates and nullifying the ones he already had. In 2016 the Clinton campaign did the same but they hired a bunch of Hollywood A-lister and made a commercial that aired nationally begging the electors to do the right thing and not vote for Trump.
while electors can vote whoever they want. some states have laws against it. I dont recall any event of them switching the vote anyway.
who knows if they fortify the vote or just jail the elector
it would be hilarious if they end up using the same tactic Trump electors did and sent another elector and let congress vote on the one to choose, you know, the thing Pence skipped due to advice from """experts"""

Counterpoint: the Jews wanted independence, self-determination, and to restore themselves to the golden years of the Davidic Kingdom. They didn't think the Romans had any right to butt in and push them around. They thought Roman hegemony, despite its relative lenience, was still a shotgun wedding.

That's why they had so many rebellions, in spite of them saying things like "we have no king but Caesar", or delegating their sovereignty to ass-kissers like Herod.
Should've had the decency to win.
The theory from the conspiracy sites, is that the NIH, the NED, USAID; Government branches that operate under the guise of NGO's, are basically the publicly facing arms of the CIA.
Would it really surprise anyone? The glowniggers are practically the fourth branch of government.

The roman emperor of the era Augustus,
A slight correction, but Tiberius (the second emperor) was the emperor at the time of Jesus' ministry and crucifixion. Both were officially called Caesar/Augustus and as a result many people get confused since the one we typically call Augustus was Emperor at the time of the census that led to Mary and Joseph to go to Bethlehem. When Jesus said "Render unto Caesar", he was referring to Tiberius. Also the Herod that dressed Jesus up in rich clothes and was involved in the death of St. John the Baptist was Herod Antipas, one of Herod the Great's sons. That's also a point of confusion.

I mean, it's pretty much how it's depicted in the bible... nobody actually reads it though so when you say the whole "Jews had him killed" thing people roll their eyes. But thing was the Pharisee could have had him freed but they chose the thief to go free and to crucify Jesus.

But depicting this as biblically accurate is of course anti-Semitism.
Barabbas wasn't just a thief, he was a violent rebel and murderer as well. The choosing of Barabbas over Jesus is symbolic of the Jews choosing violence over peace and choosing rebellion, not just against Rome, but against God himself. The old testament is one long story of the Jews rebelling and turning their backs to God. The choosing of Barabbas over God's son was the final stone they threw against their Lord and Savior, a culmination of their entire history.

The problem is many people these days won't believe anything unless they get the leaked Government document with:

Dear NIH,

We want you to continue funding bioweapon research in offshore labs like Ukraine and China, thereby not falling under US Media attention or US regulations.

Lots of love and kisses

from CIA.

they've already admitted to experimenting on public resources for shits and giggles, what more proof can a person need?

To elaborate a bit more on my previous post.
The Jewish religious scholarship at the time of Jesus' ministry were mostly divided between four camps, the biggest and most bitterly divided of whom were the Pharisees and the Saducees. The Pharisees were more populist and placed high stock in strict Torah law, while the Saducees were more aristocratic and had a Hellenistic cosmopolitan slant. Jesus criticised both of them. And yes, the Pharisees are the theological predecessor to Rabbinic Judaism. That's why they get so pissy about them being portrayed badly. The gospels were written under the impression that the reader knew everything about 1st century Judean religion and politics, so a bit of context is needed to fully understand them.

It made over $600 million on a $30 million budget. That is a performance studios kill for but Gibson’s career was ruined because of how successful it was.

They prefer shit like Jesus Christ Superstar where the tribe doesn’t get mentioned at all or downplayed at the very least. Gibson didn’t feel the need to obfuscate their role, which is why his career had to get ruined. The message was made loud and clear about attempting biblical accuracy. These days, any funding would get seized to even get it made in the first place.

There was a planned comeback with Gibson on The Hangover 2 but Zach whateverthefuckhisnameis screeched about it publicly enough until that got axed. Todd Phillips is a secret shitlord as we’re finding out.

Fatman where Gibson plays Santa is a pretty fun movie that came out a couple years back.

IRS Whistleblower testimony paints obvious criminal fraud and corruption with the Bidens, and one of the whistleblowers is a gay democrat so they can't assail him. But it doesn't matter, they'll just indict Trump tomorrow to hide this, and strongly worded letters will be sent.

She's been racking up L's recently, but MTG did push this into the committee which made the democrats freak out. Human trafficking is ok if you're a Biden.

I always think of the roman solider who believed in Jesus and his surprise at his faith. For all their faults, they were one of the first civilizations to try and bring order to the world.
The also were the worst persecutors of Christianity during its first few centuries of its existence, starting with Nero's persecution of what he saw as a minor, popularly disliked, suspicious eastern mystery cult that made a good scapegoat for the Great Fire, leading to the matyrdom of many of the 12 Apostles, most notably the leaders Paul and Peter. The Bible doesn't talk much about this unless you count Revelations, which was most likely written during this time period. This would be followed by following emperors doing much of the same to varying degrees, Diocletian being held as the worst. The only legitimate existential threat to Christendom that ever came remotely close to Rome is Islam.
Rome, being polytheist, had a hard time understanding monotheistic religions with strict adhension to scripture like Christianity and Judaism not taking kindly to Helleno-Roman syncretism and state religion. To the Romans, it was perfectly logical to tear down their holy places and replace them with temples and shrines to Jupiter, since in their mind the Abrahamic God and Jupiter could interpreted as one and the same since it worked with other barbarian groups, not to mention Christianity's morbid obsession with the death and suffering of their savior and their ritualistic cannibalism in the form of the eucharist made them seem downright batshit insane and sinister to the Roman public.
Rome always had this contradiction to it in regards to Christianity since they were at one time its worst persecutors and at another its greatest champions. Which is part of the reason Christian tradition either portrays Pontius Pilate as a saint akin to Paul who repented and converted after what he did or a demonic figure akin to Nero tasked by Satan with bringing about Christ's suffering and death. I honestly just think he was a politician who didn't have the guts to follow his conscience and sense of justice out of fear of a riot occurring that he'd get the blame for, and that's really it.

I liked the niggers trying to make it about race while also trying to defend Hunter Biden in a weird convoluted way basically saying "we need to hang dat cracka now to dismantle da real two tiered system". They clearly read from the exact same script too lol.

Yeah, this is a massive turn off to anyone who grew up outside of Christian households. I really can't blame the Romans either because they saw the creation of the religion in real time rather than it being mired in myth and legend like every other one. As far as they were concerned, you worship a dead jew on a stick fathered by a Roman soldier and use a method of execution as a religious icon. That is actually batshit insane even now when you really think about it.

To the Hellenic Romans the Jew and later Christian God was kind of a eldritch horror. They were used to the idea of gods as somewhat understandable if supremely powerful beings, the idea of this whole meme of a formless being of divine nature whose true nature a mortal could not fathom was really off putting to them. I remember this anecdote of how one of the first roman representatives to come by to get Herod's vassalization went to the Temple and asked where the statues were, and the local Rabbi explained that jews don't do that and how Yahweh was the beginning and the end it just came off as "these weird big nosed barbarians are praying to all and none of the Gods that the same time what the fuck".

In other news I wonder what sort of retarded new we will see drop as the whole of D.C. gets together to kvetch about Trump on friday. We already have on economic bullshit planned.

Hey if you were throwing a bunch of culty wierdos to the lions and they all kept making a point of self-righteously forgiving you and saying they'd pray for you in heaven as they died horribly, you'd probably not like them either.
