If your original question was that it's difficult to hand count, that's basically my objection to hand counting. It's unrealistic. If Trump ends up depending on that, it's over. My question was if the tabulators can count write-ins. I suspect they can tell if a ballot is a write-in or not, but not who was written. I still don't see how using a legal function of the election system is unrealistic. If it takes time then it takes time - we literally already have a precedent for counts taking a long time.

If the establishment succeeds in keeping him from running, then it's officially the first "election" we have as a country in which the people's choice has been shut out of the equation, completely. I just don't agree with this nonsense. An anonymous vote toll should be instant, as in poll close, all tallied up. No recounts needed. They could do this with lever machines in the 1920's that dialed up the results. It's INSANE that it takes time to do this crap. Imagine if your bank account debits/credits took recounts, it's just stupid.

I'm writing in Trump regardless just to spite the regime, unless RFK Jr decides to run as an independent. A vote for either of them would be a wasted vote but would show some disdain for the system.

Regardless how fucked this election is going to be, in a strange way I'm anticipating it as much as I did the 2016 one.
