Holy shit over 500k views on the GN video in just 4 hours. This was perfect timing for Linus as he comes down from his ego high from his vanity convention.

This blame-shifting faggot. For now, it's hard to do because I'm frustrated by the timelines too, but all I can do is say, "Stay tuned. it's upward from here and we're really excited."
Of course he doesn't; one of the first things I'd cut is all their design people. Unless you're Ralph Lauren or some actual apparel company, you don't need permanent design staff or all the toys they require (like the Pantone Books/Chips). Those can be a semi-gig economy type job; go to Fiver or wherever, find someone(s) you like, come up with your annual/holiday designs or whatever and have them work per project. This can be your shirts, hoodies, jackets, socks, water bottles, stickers, etc. Try to keep a good working relationship with them, and try to be a repeat customer as long as they do good work. You'll pay a fraction of the $60k-$80k a year per employee you pay by having permanent staff.Saw this on linus' twitter while looking for a response. Does he really need that many employees to make these stupid youtube videos? Its no wonder there are so many problems.

Hard to say, but I said it before when he was first announced as the new CEO. Even though he's the CEO, Linus and Yvonne are still the owners; let's not pretend the CEO wants/needs to make a hard decision, but Linus puts his finger on the scale as the owner.Has the new CEO of LTT actually done anything? I feel like drastic action (probably layoffs) is the only way LTT won’t imminently crash and burn (I hope it does), and I imagine Linus didn’t want to do it himself- he’s probably going to clean his hands of the whole thing and go hide in that mansion of his.
The oldest three videos on the channel all have voiceover with a British accent:one of the two non-deleted comments in that thread before locking, hmmm, who knows what is true.

He's definitely catching shit on his own forum but can we appreciate how many of his goblins are still running defense? There are people in there calling Steve "sensationalist" and trying to project LTT issues onto GN. Linus' company FUCKED a startup on a false premise, doubled down on it, then AUCTIONED OFF property of that startup without permission. If GN did anything close to that Steve would issue a public video apology and do whatever it took to make things right; LTT goblins- stop worshiping your retarded soy tech idol for a minute and acknowledge that he fucked up.Thread on the LTT forum

The winds are not blowing in Linus' favor.
Well, Linus Tech Tips may have all those problems, but does Gamers Nexus have a beautiful Trans-Woman/Ogre? Thought so!

You don't even need to be a big name. My channel is under 5,000 and I have access to the built-in editor. So unless I got blessed (for some weird fucking reason), it's a tool most people (maybe you need adsense) should have. The most shocking revelation from this video is that LMG has access to a 'drop-in place' video editing system that, as far as I'm aware, has only been a rumor. There have been claims that big dinosaur media agencies have been completely replacing very old videos that made current major politicians look bad, but I thought that was probably a bridge too because it would involve YouTube directly. Now that I know the big channels actually have this feature to use on their own, I believe it.
God I fucking hate management speak. The biggest problems in companies are never fixed because management never wants to pull the trigger and just implement fixes. They'll too worried about covering their own asses. We talk constantly about how we intend to move forward and make better content. It's just taking longer than any of us would like.
Yeah that's not what they are talking about. GN was talking about the ability to replace the entire video with a new one without changing the URL or anything else, such as upload date. You could upload a video and then later replace it with a completely different video. You don't even need to be a big name. My channel is under 5,000 and I have access to the built-in editor. So unless I got blessed (for some weird fucking reason), it's a tool most people (maybe you need adsense) should have.
No, the editor is completely different. This is a way to completely re-upload the video with the same URL.You don't even need to be a big name. Can 100% confirm. I use TubeArchivist for my personal YT archive and I have the exact videos GN is talking about. They were replaced. From skipping through them, they were not just trimmed, but entire sections were added/removed/moved around, edits were made, etcThe most shocking revelation from this video is that LMG has access to a 'drop-in place' video editing system that, as far as I'm aware, has only been a rumor. It's not just that. Entirely new sections were added, and edits were made to the actual video, like that disk slipping effect here: https://youtu.be/THxkY59_xko?t=203You don't even need to be a big name.
