Being trans IS being beautiful. I find my transness to be more beautiful than the cis beauty standards I once aspired to because it is so authentic and real. This realization was a major breakthrough for me personally.

I feel this. I’m nonbinary, so if it makes sense, paradoxically not passing feels the closest to being able to pass.
Either being a freak really is the whole point. To freak the mundanes.

I don’t think I want to pass as a cis woman
I’m early in transition. I still dress like a man, so everybody sees me as a cis man. I want people to look at me and be able to tell that I’m a trans woman. I do have kind of mixed feelings about it though. Thinking about it, it probably would feel good to pass, but being a visible trans woman would make me feel like I’m doing something positive. It’d make me feel like I’m helping to normalize being trans.comment 1
