It fucks with your head when you hear them repeat their same tired slogans - "trans men are men! trans women are women!" but then start to notice that they have their own subculture of sorts, separate from what normal people do. Can't say I've seen anyone who isn't a troon get really into things like the Blahaj shark plush or wearing striped knee high socks. I'm sure there are things the TIFs do/enjoy that set them apart from the actual, biological men, but it's more obvious when you think of all the typical "man" activities they don't do. How many TIFs have you seen get into weightlifting, fishing or going down the pub to have a beer with the boys?

I used to have saved an old Vine video that showed a little pooner (emphasis on little) standing with or near some boys. She reached her hand down into her trousers, one of the boys commented on it (something like "you don't have anything to scratch" or "you don't have anything down there"), and, natürlich, she ran off bawling.

My thoughts: This is an odd case. From browsing through her Twitter it's clear that she and her boyfriend have lives outside of the internet, they're going paddleboarding, going out birding, going to see bands, etc. She likes her job, she has at least a couple of irl friends. She's not terminally online. No reason in the world for this chick to troon out and create a bunch of conflict and discomfort for herself. And yet.

I'm a few episodes behind but I really don't understand what Christian's deal is. It seems like he wants to be all progressive, "sure I'd date a trans." Then push comes to shove with the reality of it he seems not into it. The body language of him on the edge of the bed, body leaning away. Yet then they have sex. Did he just figure he has to? My wife and I speculated he was closeted before we saw him seemingly repulsed by her. Then the sex, what does that even mean? Hand jobs? Oral? Anal? Reciprocol? As the wife likes to constantly point out. "When they get naked, it's just two dudes."

Also with Cleo. There's the validation of a straight guy shagging her. There's also the aspect of a guy wanting to brag about getting laid. When Christian is being coy about what went down. That's actually how most cis women (who aren't fat) would want a guy to be. So ironically Cleo was upset Christian was giving her the respect most cis women would want.

My wife and I have the same question but I also probably prefer not to actually know. We just finished the latest episode and he was drunk and kissing all over his man bride at the end. But he also met a real woman at the bar (he went by himself) and invited her to their thanksgiving dinner. Of course, the tranny is upset because they hate wahmen. The tranny says it's because his autism (shocking, I know). So that should be interesting next week.

I think they're both just awkward and nervous people. I was actually going to write a post in the trans musings thread about the fan reaction to Christian, because the way they talk you'd think Christian is some Machiavellian master manipulator the way they describe his argument with Chloe about airing their sex life, whereas Chloe is this doe-eyed, innocent princess, a wounded deer tearfully limping away from the arrows Christian keeps shooting at "her". They did this too with Gabe last season, where anyone who thought Gabe was childish and annoying was questioned incessantly for their covert transphobia.

I don't even hate seeing trans people on 90 day in itself, but it makes discussion impossible since everyone decides from the onset they're going to shower whatever trans/gay/etc character that shows up with endless admiration and affection and protection from any criticism whatsoever.

You know now that I think about it, KF is probably the only decent place to discuss 90 day, since you can just say whatever you mean without jumping through so many hoops. Also I wrote Chloe instead of Cleo, but whatever.

Honestly they should clarify who topped and who bottomed. I know it's private or whatever but this is serious, the viewers need to know.
