This entire thing with regard to the story being a historical story is just so odd. It really doesn't matter if someone is grooming a kid and subsequently brings it up as a joke, or if they are currently grooming, they are still terrible people.
The only way the "historical vs present" distinction makes any difference is if the perpetrator in question sincerely and wholeheartedly explicitly apologizes for their past behaviour, admits that it was wrong and makes concrete efforts to atone for their transgressions and make changes to reform themselves.
Drex hasn't done any of that shit, at least publicly.
The historic stories of past conquests are just locker room bravado.
- 'Why does Josh hate Drex?' 'As a rule, Josh doesn't like black people', but maybe it is 'black culture'. It could be either, and it is confirmation bias. Nick thinks Josh cannot understand that Drex is not swinging or fucking married women now. The dislike is based on a misconception of current verus historical behaviour.
Nick did not associate a lot with Drex during that period he WAS doing these things, so the stories were fun to tell on the show because they were new to Nick.
Again, relying on past tense.
Drex's whole shtick both on Nick's show and his own MGTOW content has been bragging about his body count and the degeneracy along the way.
Drex has been on Nick's show for years. When did Drex stop being a degenerate? Why did he stop?
Drex met NCAAKat through Nick's show, so that timeline doesn't work.
And even if there's an old Drex and a new Drex with a clean distinction, Drex has shown zero humility or remorse for his old immoral behaviour. In fact, he made it into his entire e-brand.
They hired someone to help with transport.
Presumably, Nick mentioned on his recent Locals stream that he hired a driver back in May for his children's homeschool/social activities who is a completely separate person than his longstanding nanny/housekeeper that recently housesat for him.
Apparently, the frequent suggestion that he should hire a driver for his kids didn't solve the lack of/shitty/unreliable streaming problem. Because he did so 3 months ago and no one noticed.
He is away from his house most of the day.
Why? You apparently have a wife & a nanny & and now a driver.
Streaming is your job! Do your fucking job!
Nick hasn't even gotten him a deal with Rumble as far as I am aware.
Josh has mentioned on MATI a few times that Rumble support has ghosted him completely and won't return correspondence.
If Nick had any pull at Rumble at all, he could tell them to knock that deplatforming shit off and be true to their freeze peach branding.
I highly recommend anyone with a modicum of principles stop hanging out with Nick. This was a gross clip and will happen again. He did it to that one fan who private messaged him, he's doing it to Josh, and he'll do it to someone else in the future.
Clips like this and the recent leaks DMs from Dec with PerceptionCheck make it obvious why Nick is always cajoling his targets offline to talk one-on-one.
The constant inebriation isn't helping. Take a B12 supplement Nick.
Alcoholics can certainly be B12 deficient (B12 is only derived from animal protein, drunks don't eat because they constantly fill up on empty calories via liquid alcohol/carbs). B12 can also theoretically cause a reversible dementia.
The wetbrain more specifically associated with alcohol dependency is actually
Thiamine (B1) deficiency.
It creates a very specific syndrome called Wernicke-Korsakoff syndrome, featuring very stereotypical balance, gait and coordination deficits, along with a very specific cognitive impairment dominated by confabulation.
The confabulation displayed essentially amounts to involuntary lying via wild storytelling that the sufferer believes to be true as their brain creates rationales and narratives out of thin air to patch the holes in their memories for events and facts that they can't retain.
Hospitals used to give suspected alcoholics 3-5 days of Thiamine upon admission as part of protocols, with the theory being that refeeding a malnourished patient with carbs without the requisite vitamin to process them could theoretically break their brain.
Why doesn't Nick just invite Null onto a stream to talk this out? He's always doing pussy shit like messaging Josh off hours and then changing the narrative the next day about what he said. It's such an abusive thing to do to someone.
Josh and Nick already essentially hashed most of this out months ago live on I, Hypocrite's stream, where Null famously asked for specific names or examples of KF users crossing the line to "harm Nick's business".
And Nick infamously bitching out, unable to provide a single specific or example, instead classically suggesting he wanted to take it offline in private to give Josh details later.
Doesn't seem like future shows would be much different.
Nick’s coverage of rittenhouse was great but it seems the fame has gotten to his head.
Lawtube orbiters aren't that popular in this thread, but a lot of the credit to what made the Rittenhouse format a success was Nick's merry band of panelists at the time.
Current solo Nick trial streams are mostly unwatchable.
Interesting as well that essentially his entire Rittenhouse panel minus Mindset and Branca had abandoned him by the start of Depp, long before Nick's heel arc.
Joe, Legal Bytes and Emily D. Baker started up their own streams as competitors to try to actually get paid. Normies like Viva Frei never returned. Less degenerate commentators like Kurt and Runkle straddled the fence, but seemed to gravitate more towards the group than hanging out with the Lawpope. They still congregate on Fridays on Eric Hunley's channel, to which Nick doesn't even feign interest in the invites anymore if they are still coming.
Legal Mindset made some interesting comments on his own stream a few months back, essentially saying appearing on Nick's channel wasn't worth it even BITD. He essentially said it was only worth it as a "one-&-done" subscriber bump, then it's best to move on/not worth the time.
